Just had a look at the playoff final fixtures for the weekend and spotted that all 3 games kick off at 1 minute past the hour - i.e Sunlun kick off at 15:01.

Does anybody know the significance of this (not a quiz question) just curious! sctatchinghead

Yes, it's to promote the awareness of CPR & the British Heart Foundation's 'Every Minute Matters' campaign.

You can't beat waking up to a bit of positivity first thing in the morning.

Congratulations Clive - hope you can give it a reasonable go next season.
Also to Kettering - looks as if your predictions are as good as it gets on here.

Aye, 2 out of 2 for me - delighted for both clubs.
No chance of getting the League 2 one right as I tipped Notts County who lost their Semi to Wimbledon- will tip them tomorrow as Walsall's season has imploded spectacularly.

Hoping Oldham put it across SARFend next Sunday - if just to upset my outlaws!

Got to admit I had a tenner on Torquay to win the Play off final against us- not because I wanted them to win but every time I back Pools in a big game they lose. I figured that a few quid would soften the blow of disappointment.

That said, was more than happy to lose a tenner for all the carnage that then ensued when Brad James saved the penalty! rolf

bet against pools next season as it could be a good little earner for anybody.

I see Wimbledon won the playoff final-

You'd be absolutely fuming if you followed Walsall, given how far ahead they were just after Christmas. They clearly dropped a bollock by not playing Cleary!

We managed to fuck up a similar lead- that had Walsall win the league - however at least we did come in a gallant second, back in the day.

Solid club Wimbledon, not long down from League 1, and it showed. Hard to believe that Pools are only a division below those two, they looked streets ahead both in terms of quality and physically. I would fancy Walsall to make amends next season though.

That seems logical.
But you could put a large bet on Pools to get relegated and they score in game 46.
101st minute deflected own goal to stay up on goal difference.

cleary hardly got a look in there but think they had a loan player from stoke who caused the damage before he was recalled. plus they did not have an ex poolie in there side. ryan johnson.

My prediction for the playoff winners in their respective leagues -

Ch- Sunlun
L1- Charlton
L2- Notts County
NL- Oldham

Think I won- 3 out of 4 ain't bad!

For my next predictions
1 - the takeover won't happen before the season starts.
2 - Limbrick will have been vaporised, won't see or hear from him again
3 - The bus drives itself, guided by Fev
4- We'll start the season with 15 players
5- We'll win the first game courtesy of an own goal before getting thumped by John Askey's Truro City.
