It now appears the supporters are like birds in a cage…and it ain’t gilded.
I think it safe to say an undeclared war of opinions is being waged.
The fan’s side is fighting on its home territory…so it has no options other than to defend its ‘territory’.
With diametrically opposed opinions …. I cannot see how any good can come of this bizarre relationship going into the future, as said relationship is as strained as it can get.
Disillusioned, weary supporters have now entered a new low in this football clash as we seem to be prisoners of a club running on auto pilot and a poor outlook on all fronts yet expected to be grateful and comply with an ownership model I find hard to define.
Any ‘fan’ who can see any thing to be optimistic about should be sectioned, it’s bleak out there and it ain’t changing.
But if nothing changes we are entering the football equivalent of low Earth orbit, descending into the inevitable collision with an unforgiving destination.
The tragi-comic ‘vote’ that redefined democracy was the icing on the headstone for me.
We live in confusing times.

The Raj vote was a bit like why prisoners sentenced to death in the USA go through multiple appeals wanting to spend the rest of their lives living a miserable life in a supermax jail. I think it’s called where there is hope…..
The other strange thing is this phrase “Raj lovers” nobody sane voted for him, they voted for the hope of change rather than the probable end of Pools.

Spot on. I suppose it's also a bit like the assisted dying issue - palliative care vs euthanasia. The palliative care option chosen gives us a glimmer of hope that a miracle cure (investment via new owner) comes along before the inevitable increasingly painful end.

On reflection, whether anyone voted YES or No….we’re all going to be washed along by the same tide….. sadx

More false hope.
No one in their right minds are Gunna come along now and get ripped off by Sing.

It's his way then Administration.
99.9% guaranteed.

So the sooner Administration happens the better in the long term.

Ye we will win 2 games in a row next seasons and the false hope comes back for a week or so.

we are like a bloke consigned staying with a wife who is out shagging every weekend and stays quiet because they are frightened of an even worse future than they have at present.

The immediate future will be defined by whether the ongoing takeover succeeds. Everyone now knows it’s happening and surely can’t be too far from concluding. If successful we have a new owner. If not, I’m pretty certain we’ll find out much more about Raj’s behaviour and demands, which will ramp up pressure on Raj even more.
I really can see calls for a boycott happening if the club isn’t sold. Certainly, even if there isn’t an official boycott, season ticket sales will be decimated.

This would be the preferred choice…but….there’s too many ‘stunts’ and too much contradictory behaviour going on for my liking….can’t we just be informed instead of being bystanders?

Totally right. The vote and snidey comments from Raj and board were massively unnecessary. A simple message saying discussions are ongoing would have been fine.

During a due diligence phase a contract is signed, the parties are then legally bound to complete the due diligence process - I imagine that may be another week or two.

From the most recent statement by the club:

"Mr Singh has confirmed that he will continue to engage with all interested parties around investment and takeover, without recent timescale pressures."

The takeover is not off, Raj has simply weakened his position by embarrassing himself and club in front of the whole nation. Jeff Stelling has resigned his role, many fans are speaking out against Raj Singh and HUST have now publicly called for him to leave.

In the past Raj had wriggle room to U turn as he would have fans contacting him asking them to stay, this may still happen, but those will be far fewer than those asking him to sell the club.

To paraphrase you Mr A , he’s become the elephant in the room, the only difference being it’s finally been acknowledged.

Is Singh really bothered about Pools, I doubt it, he is a Boro season ticket holder, he can walk tomorrow and it wouldn’t bother him as long as he wasn’t out of pocket.

I hope that the takeover is still on and only a couple of weeks away as I feel Raj has completely misread the situation. When the club accepted the offer he should of gone and he would of been remembered as the man who saved the club and not as the man who ruined it. Living down south I do not get to many home games but came up for the Crawley game that saw us relegated. If he thinks that the animosity from the crowd was bad then it will be twice as bad now the vast majority want him and his cohorts out of our club.

Theres a fair few will be gutted if it does, They will have to tear up their pre-ordained script.

To be informed by the proposed buyer would be to go against a NDA.
We know what happened last time, Toys all over the floor, And that statement was honest, And to keep us fans in the loop.

Probably don't realise they are high risk to get converted into half season tickets.
Mid season Xmas A is certainly on the Menu under this brutal dictatorship.

I'm sure I read 250 STs sold before the vote and now the Early Bird Deadline is 5 day's away.

Maybe goes to 500 maximus under the circumstances.

Kev there's people at sea in a thick fog hanging on to a bit of wood who know as much as us.
That’s how ridiculous this farce is.

Raj said he’s still working with them in his last statement, which kind of made the whole vote pretty pointless.
