HAVE HAD TO REBOOT ME COMPOOTER AFTER IT TOOK A BAD TURN banghead

LOST ALL ME FILES (WE'LL MAKE ANOTHER ONE.......................)

BUT, NOW IT'S WORKING AGAIN, IT SAYS I HAVE NO AUDIO / SOUND DEVICE therethere


ANY IDEAS?

Exactly the same happened to me the other week.

Did a system recovery and got all files etc and then told no sound.

But when I downloaded Media Player the volume worked.

But I still can't get the sound from Championship Manager (not that I'd want to anyway like!).

But I don't know why so if you fix it can you let me know?

Sounds like you have lost the driver for the device.

You could try a system restore from a time it was working and if that don't work go onto the control panel, system, devices and find the name of the device that is missing a driver, probably identified by a big yellow ?

There are loads of websites where you can download the driver, the laptops/pc manufacturer site would be a good place to start.
