You know it's bad- if Jeff's broke his silence.

We need to know what Raj's end game is- what does he want - to severe all ties and fuck off.

Either put us in Admin or SELL - it's getting to the point were we just want to know one way or the other. As we'll be here to pick up the pieces regardless! banghead

Think Singh thought we would all beg him. I think he is finding out quite quickly most are prepared for the worst now.

Not often I find myself agreeing with you :D I think hartlepool folk are very capable of saying "fuck you" and hang the consequences.
I'm at that point now, I've always been quite tolerant of Raj, saving the club and all that., but he can stick his season tickets and vote up his arse as far as I'm concerned.

Jeff Stelling has stepped down as President of Hartlepool United "in protest against the treatment of the party trying to take control of the club": https://bbc.in/3H8CkYt

I'm not renewing my S/T while he's in charge. Go ahead and fold the club Raj Singh. I'd rather have a mercy killing than death by a thousand cuts. Upside is that you'll get fuck all the same as us.

We’ve become a commodity, to be squabbled over and bartered.
Owning a football club is no way to make money, yet some think they can…and try to prove it….and fail.

that work in there everyday business but never in football. the list must be endless of the good, the bad and the ugly who came with good intentions but failed miserably.

That is the best way to bring this to a head, and turn the tables on Singh, not buy a ST.

I set the ball rolling by not renewing mine because of Singh and not buying one 4 years ago.

Not once have I been consulted about this even though I am a shareholder. I have not met the would be buyers but I do know they have been trying to buy this club for over a year - not the actions of time wasters.
I will always love this club and wish all our fans the best.

Well, In a nutshell that says it all.

He can hold that that threat over us forever if he wants to and we allow it, playing on our fears for our club, always the benevolent saviour and always let down by apparently unreliable buyers.

Raj is like a big kid with a football - we have to play by his rules or he takes his footy home and NO one gets to play.

That said the way the player retention/ recruitment isn't going, we'll be playing with a mergy/ rush in keeper, when he finally brings his ball back out after he's had his tea.

What fans, how much does it cost to fund Pools for a season, the ground rent is around £40000 a year. The Bunker has around half dozen regular posters, their opinions tends to be a boycott, probably another 3000 plus fans who we have no idea what their opinion is.
If some of the members of the Bunker feel so strongly about a boycott iwhy don’t they start a public petition ?

Don't think the grounds rent is anywhere near £40,000. And even if it is that's chicken feed.

What exactly will that achieve Jamie?
A lot of effort for NO actual benefit.

The only thing Raj is interested in is money- how to make it and continue to keep hold of it.
If STs take a nosedive and sales of merchandise significantly drop off- he might take the hint and fuck off.

The only thing Singh is interested in his money, I doubt he has any of his personal money tied up in Pools, if ST and merchandise drop off and he does f*** off what next ? For the time being we have to put up with him until a buyer comes along if there is one, fans should be buying season tickets to show potential buyers they are behind the club.

I'm getting fed up of repeating myself Jamie. WE HAVE A BLOODY BUYER!!!! WE HAVE HAD NUMEROUS. THERE IS NO 'UNTUL' ABOUT IT. THE PROBLEM ISN'T A BUYER!

Keep funding Singhs toy football club will just result in it becoming more and more unsellable so even if he did decide to drop messing about and do a deal its unlikely there would be anyone to do it with.

Well said, this whole until a buyer comes in is absolute delusion, people really see multiple other clubs around us getting buyers and us only getting “time wasters” “chancers” and don’t question a thing sctatchinghead

Oh ! I think many did Accy. This bloke had form at Darlo. When a murderer is released from jail, no one should be surprised if they commit another murder. It was always a risk IMO. Of course we had no choice, he was the only person in a queue of one, wanting to save the club, but to use another analogy, desperate people go to desperate measures to get themselves out of the mire, like going to money lenders etc, and usually end up in deeper shit, and that is now the position Pools find themselves in. This was never going to end well, this won't end well.
