A club that was more absorbed in petty power politics than the real target of producing a successful club at all levels.
A place where behind closed doors the fog of self interest that shrouds our future remains as smothering as ever.
Power struggles are apparently more important than anything else and the poor bloody fans treat with absolute contempt, but even that pales into insigniicance compared to the future the club faces.
We are are hostages to fortune in a grubby game of power politics that seem to have missed the elephant in the room that deadlines are closing in on us, but it seem to be of little interest of those in charge.
I was never one for starting again, but this farce of ego’s and silence has changed my mind. banghead

Exactly what I've been thinking, it wouldn't surprise me if it's just Raj trying to force things through.

I can only see 1 of 2 things happening now. People vote for Rajs help so he stays for at least another season of indifference, the asking price and his loans to the club increase. People vote no to Raj’s help, he puts us into admin and refuses to accept the deal offered like he did at Darlington.
That statement screams deal off to me, the buyers credibility has been ruined in 2 statements in the eyes of many fans (whether it’s the case or not).
Honestly I’d rather he just ended it at this point rather than go through another season as a millionaires plaything

The whole idea of Singh asking season ticket holders to "vote for Raj" seems twisted. It's ridiculous, IMO it's a trap.

The other side of Singh's latest cunning stunt is that many Pools fans simply can't afford to buy a season ticket so they purchase a ticket for each match on a week to week basis. Others I know cannot attend a significant number of matches at present due to business and family commitments. I'm aware that some of these people have supported Pools for 50+ years, many of these as ST holders and therefore surely deserve to have a say in whether the club lives or dies at the behest of Raj Singh?

For most of my time support supporting Pools I paid on the gate, I took all my the three kids, so back in the day pulling out for four season tickets or going on holiday was a no brainer…so I paid on the gate…and rarely missed a match, but the kids grew up and only then did I buy a season ticket.
I never liked the people who though5 having a season ticket made them something special, they weren’t … just fortunate.

i was well into my teens before i realised what a season ticket actually was. went out with a lass whose father was a MD for a large cotton mill. he went to the shay every week and like the rest he paid on the gate. even now there will be many who could afford one and rarely miss a game but prefer to pay on a match to match basis like those who cannot make it regularly for work, money or distance they have to travel reasons. if a new owner did come in and acted like they said they will and the team improved i might then do my bit and buy one for my 10 games a season i,d attend. i,m certainly not having a hit on my pocket when some with more dosh in charge cannot be arsed.
