I think Skippy has done enough to have the summer to recruit his OWN players and prepare for the new season- can't be any worse than Uncle Darren - at least he tries to play Association Football rather than Rugby Union!

I think hes a decent coach, But i do think we need a man manager just my opinion.

He needs to add some discipline to his CV.
Seems to nicely nicely.
Anyhow someone on here said we getting the Boston manager.

Couglan, Its a rumour, Nowt to do with me.

When is something going to happen.

Can't see the club honouring the national league contracts retained list.
So going for 13th of June.
Dunno which division.

There’s no urgency it appears.
No surprise there then.

Something needs to happen PDQ, surely even the parties involved must be becoming fed up with this seemingly never ending saga. I would imagine that the new owners would want to avoid not honouring the NL retained list expiry date for starters.

Agreed but the Mary Celeste stayed afloat for a lengthy period of time with nobody at the helm until it was rescued and towed into a safe harbour I believe. Just ask Lenny, he must have been around then?

I think if nothing has happened/ been announced by the end of next week, that we will well and truly be in the shite.

This is getting ridiculous- we just need to know about intentions - Sell if you're going to sell and Buy if you're going to Buy. We'll be onto our next Pope at this rate, before it's sorted! :angry-tappingfoot:

If 'the list' does indeed already exist I would very much doubt that the content could be suppressed for more than a couple of hours after the players had been informed, regardless of NDA's being in place in respect of the ongoing sale of the club.

The NDAs are obviously being respected 100%.

As for out of contract players not getting offered new terms.
They gunna sing like canaries.

It's a strange situation.

Agreed, perhaps that is the prime reason why the retained list is seemingly being withheld for as long as is practicably possible?

So season ticket holders get to vote and if they are sufficiently deferential to Raj we get another season of this nonsense with the cycle repeating itself around March next year..

What was Einsteins definition of insanity again ?

F’ing ridiculous and unprofessional, the fact ‘the board’ won’t even put peoples names to this statement is just the start.

Email season ticket holders and ask them to ask Raj to provide funding? This is beyond parody now, he wants to stay on but not be accountable for any decisions he makes, any criticism and the threat to walk away and land us in it starts again.

What possible chance of any success is available to us with this approach
Can see it now, he stays on for another season worse than the one before and the blames this episode and ungrateful fans for it.

I think we are at the point of no return with him running the show but appreciate there may be other opinions

I mentioned don't rule out a U Turn about his toy HUFC.

Maybe thinks he can get promotion miracle on the cheap. Then rinse n repeat.

Next seasons team is looking brutal.

Absolutely zero chance we go up without significant investment. Teams like York, Carlisle, Forest Green and the loser of Oldham/Southend are miles ahead of us as is and most of them will throw even more money at it.

I'd be surprised if the person writing those statements was aware that the FA Cup and Europa League Finals were taking place when he put them out on the website/social media. It implies an understanding of or an interest in football, which I suspect is not the case.

Best forget about 'going up' this season - going down would appear to be the more likely outcome of the current fiasco, should we actually be in a position to start the campaign. It is a time for cool heads and clear, positive thinking - but given that the person pulling the strings appears to be behaving like a loose cannon it doesn't allow for any of the above with the clock ticking towards midnight. To exclude the club president and only other named board member from communications is unprofessional to say the least.

I would add that having essentially provided a statement for the fans last week, surely it would be appropriate for Ms Shelley to provide an update outlaying her view of the current position and preferably explain why the required funds have not been deposited as seemingly agreed with R Singh with two deadlines having been missed.

I don’t think she can can she? The statement basically says ‘you’ve broken confidentiality don’t do it again’. No idea how she broke it by stating they were undertaking due diligence but I’m not party to the NDA…
