No, we are still out of the EU.

No.

No.

It’s alive and well, the guy was elected to do a job, he is doing that job, that is exactly what democracy is. He wasn’t my choice, but he has the majority of MPs.

the tories actually betrayed brexit as those who voted for it never received it. all starmer is doing is going back on a few points that split the country anyway. since then many have changed their minds on the subject as they can see no benefit of leaving the eu for vauious reasons especially the deal given to them.

Why are people complaining about the fisheries deal, he wasn’t actually looking after the fishermen was he. Nigel Farage ranked 748th of 751 MEPs for attendance, went to 1 of 42 fishery committee meetings & was fined £35K for fiddling his expenses
As an MP he has held no surgeries, skipped 80% of votes and had ten jobs on the side.

Yer not. That's why I asked if you were the same gadgie - which you've avoided answering.

If you are, you can relax as you're on the much better forum for having a ding-dong with folk.

The conservatives "oven ready deal" was bad for the UK and this goes someway to rectifying it.

The UK has always been a trading nation and not to be closely aligned to the EU is economically crazy but lets just sit here in our little island dreaming about our empire and past victories.

I think there are a couple of things at play here

a) Starmer is desperate to increase trade by almost whatever means possible while walking a tightrope of migration, he has possibly had a good stab at this.
b) Europe meanwhile are shitting themselves as they have suddenly woken up to the fact that they have little in the way of an effective military force, only France and bits and pieces elsewhere. The UK is being seduced by the prospect of trade in return for the UK bolstering Europe militarily (again) under the initial guise of closer defence co-operation.

Should the proverbial shit hit the fan you can guarantee the EU residency requirements and non EU citizen queues at airports will be removed sharply for the UK military.

we,d have never left the eu in the first place if so many people were dreaming of the past or voted to leave due to the free movement that happened.

Exactly Farage complaining about immigration fooled the Brexiteers, immigration actually increased,Farage is a one trick pony.
The U.K. will eventually be back in the E.U. Labour will do it a bit a time with out anyone realising. I posted this in another topic, cheese maker has lost hundreds of thousands of pounds because he can’t export his produce because it needs a vets certificate !

farage has really started to annoy me as much as the others. you are spot on about him being a one trick pony. unless its immigration that comes up as a topic you never hear or see him. imagine being at the match with him he,d spend all his time googling the team sheet and then knock any foreign born players. hell knows what his opinion on mancini would have been if he was a poolie.

I do get a kick out of all of it the U.K. is the only country in the world to impose economic sanctions on itself but leaving the E.U., here are some facts,
Brexit has led to a decrease in UK trade, with goods exports to the EU reportedly 30% lower than pre-Brexit levels.

Uncertainty surrounding Brexit and trade barriers have discouraged investment in the UK, both domestically and from foreign investors.

Brexit is estimated to have cost the UK economy approximately £140 billion, with London experiencing a significant impact of £30 billion. This includes a reduction in economic output, a loss of jobs (1.8 million fewer overall, with 300,000 fewer in London), and a decline in trade

Now Sussex explain what benefits you or the U.K. received from Brexit, oh forgot you got your blue passport back.

The more that comes to light about this deal, the worse it sounds for the UK.
It also appears that there could be grounds for a legal challenge anyway since it gives powers away to the EU, against previous protocols put into law.

what did you really expect to happen. how many mp,s were even in favour of brexit at the outset. very few so it was obvious they,d want back at the first opportunity no matter how bad the deal was. thats the reason i never voted to leave in the first place as there was no will on behalf of parliament to see it through anyway to give the country the brexit they voted for. a pointless waste of time, money and energy for what.

Exactly the majority of MPs only showed support for Brexit in public to get re elected but they know it was a mistake as it has been proved.

I asked you what benefits have YOU had from Brexit nothing to do with defence ?
Facts are easy to get there is a something called the World Wide Web out there not just GB News.
You tell me what the E.U. would expect the U.K to pay for defence, I have no idea.

I asked you what benefits have YOU had from Brexit nothing to do with defence ?
Facts are easy to get there is a something called the World Wide Web out there not just GB News.
You tell me what the E.U. would expect the U.K to pay for defence, I have no idea.

Try answering his question instead of constantly swerving questions directed at YOU!

Well they were shit houses then weren’t they….?
Do you get sexually aroused and cry out ‘BREXIIIIIIT’ in the night…of course you do.

Yes they were sh** houses more so Cameron, I don’t get aroused sexually when politicians now admit Brexit was a mistake but it makes me smile, you want to try it Snowy.
You still never answered my question from a previous post what benefits have you had from Brexit ?
