A waste of effort on my part.
But you do have a vey low opinion of the ‘village’ as you refer to it.

Aah Snowy you took the bait, when I say ‘village’ I mean Hartlepool is a forgotten town in the N.E. overlooked even when we had Mandleson as our MP.. I have a low opinion of certain areas like Church Street where millions have been spent, a lost cause, The Shades a derelict pub which the Council over paid for, likewise the old Post Office and they plan to throw more money at Church Street for what, a cafe culture ? Various old nightclubs which are boarded up and no effort is ever made to pursue the owners until they eventually burn down, the town is not a shithole but certain parts are.
Hartlepool has a shopping centre with low quality shops ring fenced by parking charges and the Council don’t appear to realise there are retail parks and supermarkets where the parking is free.

Starter has lost the plot. He wants more of what has made his vote collapse.
I voted Reform as I am anti boats and woke but would not favour a Reform government. However a coalition including Reform to add a bit of common sense would be my preference.

I was impressed by the female Reform candidate who said that if tents were good enough in France, they should be good enough in the U.K. for illegal immigrants. We cannot afford to house and feed an unending stream of 'illegals' who are thieves in my opinion, using up tax payers' money.

I think we could all have predicted the results although I am surprised at how many losses the Conservatives had. It’s always mentioned Council elections aren’t an indicator as there is usually a low turnout. Hopefully it will give Labour a kick up the butt but they have such a large majority I can’t see nought changing in the next 4 years.

This wasn't any old Council election though, this turned into a Referendum on the Labour Party, and the people have let Labour know, unless they buck their ideas up, then Reform could well win the next General Election. Things could now get even worse before they get better, with Rookie Reform councillors all over the gaffe, learning on the job, that could now turn local politics, certainly in the short term, into the same shitshow as politics at national level. In football terms, it could be like Pools playing their Youth team in the National League.

Patronising twaddle……if we all believed that there would never be any new Party’s or politicians…is that how low the established Party’s have sunk in their thrashing about.
If Starmer is the voice of experience your argument falls through the floor as this clown has caused more cock ups than a bull in a china shop.

I assume that was aimed at me, you jumped up bellend. How is it patronising? I voted Reform you idiot. I was merely suggesting, that in the short term, their new councillors might find the going tough, this is not just one or two newbies, but in some places like Durham, whole councils. Many I believe may have got into politics for the wrong reasons, and are not naturally political animals, and as a result may well struggle in their new roles. I'm all for new parties, and I'm pleased the the established order of things has been disrupted and the two party system consigned to the dustbin of history. In time these new councillors will get to grips with the job as we all do when in a new job, some will struggle and fall by the wayside and be replaced by better councillors. Starmer isn't a politician, he's a barrister, that's why I think he's fast becoming the worst PM we've ever had.

Calm down madam, hysteria never helps your cause, your politics appear to be the same as mine… so strap in….
ALL new Councillors are on a learning curve, I can assure you from hard experience that most are there for years as nodding dogs and need reminding when to breathe.
As long as they’ve got a competent cabinet you can put most Councillors out to graze till it’s time for milking.
Starmer is a deluded technocrat who’s obviously orbiting another planet and appears to have trouble relating to normal people…and their problems.
Reform will need to learn discipline amongst it’s members, but not to the extent of the established Party’s..
‘Bell End’…?….haven’t been called that since….Tuesday…..nuns aren’t what they used to be.

Farage, like him or not, is the only party leader that "reads the room". He knows and accepts what the majority of the British public want, wether he can actually manage to make significant changes remains to be seen.
The gall of Starmer to claim we want more and faster of what he's already dealt us is f*cking scary and sickening. They're on the road to a Reform government unless they change direction and quickly.
Fudging figures and telling us outright lies might fool some, but not the majority.
I still reckon he'll be replaced soon, as will Badenoch.

but who are the alternatives especially in labours case with so many new mp with less than a year in office. millipede, super trouper cooper or jim reeves. at least if he does manage what he said about those in DEI or DIE as i prefer to call it need to find new careers its one big plus.
