Hypocrisy. Not talking about transgender here, but Men and Women. Surely total equality would be both sexes being able to play in same team. We have female refs and assistants in the Mens game, so why can't Women play in the Mens game?.

Personally I think Men and Women should be kept apart as in the past, but I hate hypocrisy, and if Women can be involved in the Mens game, through officiating and punditry, then why are they not allowed to play in Mens teams?.

I'm sure the best Women footballers could play at Northern Premier League level, maybe higher.

Men are involved in the women's game though. For example, in the 2023/2024 season 8 out of 12 of the WSL managers were men. How many of the 92 professional men's teams have female managers? None.

Female teams should have female referees, female managers etc.
Keep them separate, saves all the arguing.

I commented on the BBC website asking why was women’s football taking precedence over the men’s football in the scores and fixtures, the comment was removed as it was deemed inappropriate and didn’t conform to their standards.

'Real' women (as opposed to trannies) are physically incapable of competing with adult men. In fact in several challenge games, adult females have failed miserably to compete with male teams. Stocksfield is correct, why even bother to allow women to compete in men's football, keep the sexes separate as they are in the majority of physical sports.

As for the biased and risible BBC, don't even bother to comment adversely on anything even remotely woke as you will immediately be either cancelled or shouted down by Beeb Bots. Women's football in particular is for some reason placed on a pedestal at the BEEB and is regarded as untouchable. Their excuse is that they are attempting to help grow the game but attendances are actually now in decline. For example only 4k watched the Man U vs Chelsea WSL title decider on Wednesday.

Men manage women’s football teams and to me women would be fine to manage men’s teams too, even in the EPL, if they have the skills, bring it on.

fact is many women who watch the mens game have no interest in games there own sex play in. keep it both separate including the governance of both games and a tweek to the laws of the game that might improve womens football. male and female hockey used to go down that line and nobody was really upset by it. more or less its like playing and watching an under 11,s game played on the largest pitch in the county. one thing if womens football now is the vast amount of officials now are actualy female so do not need the men to keep it going as it was at the outset. if you refused to referee womens football you could say goodbye to getting a game in a mens county cup fixture as happened to me with the west riding fa.
