Arguing with police before the match in a pub? you can do that now in the UK can you? how times have changed. Agree, should have been sent to jail, for 6 months IMO. Even these community sentences handed out to his partners in crime, are a joke, if they actually did 150 hours proper graft, instead of what they actually do, which in my experience is very little and meaningless, it would be some consolation. The amount of criminals serving community sentences, doing unpaid work, you'd think there would be no litter on the Central Estate or dog shit in Blackhall, but there is, lots of it, only in the UK, a place that has lost its mind.

The steward was doing his job.
Anything else is irrelevant.
The Law should defend someone going about their lawful business regardless.

over the years we have had to take industrial action on the buses after drivers have had a slap or beaten up by some passenger. some quite bad but nobody ever did time for any assault. the police did there job but the court never did to our satisfaction or even the mahority of other passengers who were inconvenianced by out strikes.
