‘They’ve got us’

Noticed the phrase ’WE’VE GOT YOU….’on a Stagecoach bus in their new livery of dark blue was next to me at the traffic lights.
Well as they have a monopoly of all the town’s bus services, they certainly have us by something ………..several phrases come to mind. :laugh:

one thing about stagecoach is they could not have got a better name to describe them. my lad who worked for them calls em the deadwood stage that rattles and limps over the hill. broken and bodged up.

There's a sign in our Co-op window proclaiming that Member's Card holders (like me) own the store.

So I helped myself to four bottles of Glenfiddich and shagged the manageress...

Good bit business of the original owners of Stagecoach, brother and sister, bought the bus companies over along with the bus stations in prime locations then sold the bus stations off.

Watch out for plastic cuts with them razor sharp untrimmed bits.

Its should all be franchised across Teesside like in Manchester etc etc........twats they are!

I knocked ten-bob an hour off her wages and cancelled her holidays...

remember when i was a nipper me mam sain NEVER get on one of them Blue Buses from Hartlepool.
Always use the Red ones from West.

Aye the old feller used to say it to me and my brother…wait for the red West Hartlepool buses it goes into our rates…,,we always got the blue buses because they were more ‘exotic’ and looked smarter…..and different.
Happy days, easy pleased when you’re 10.
