I see that evil piece of shit that murdered that little girl has been refused parole and open prison. I really don’t understand why he wasn’t given a whole life tarriff.

Either way, he’ll die in the nick.

:angry-screaming: If ever there was a case for bringing back the death penalty, it was this- as that evil KUNT should have swung!

Whenever I'm back home, I normally go for a drive round town/ over the headland etc
I always think of her, as I drive past the end of her street on the way up to the sea front.

He would die, if he ever was released- as someone from town would track him down and rightly sacrifice the horrible KUNT

Trouble is there’s always someone who’ll make an excuse for a twat like that in the judiciary.
The most telling memento is the upstairs flat where it happened ….it was demolished, leaving a gap in the buildings..
A vile piece of shit he was and still is.

My punishment for crimes like his is quite simple. Lock him up in a room with forty young Mothers and leave the scene with the words "I'll be back in an hour".

Prison is to good for him.
He should be water boarded and a Rat Trap snapping across his bell end 24/7 365 days per year.

To my utter shock, I learned a couple of years ago that he used to be married to my cousin in Horden and Peterlee.

What a coincidence Kettering I am always going down there either to my mates house or Verrils. And every single time I also think about it. So sad a horrendous stain on our little town because of one pure evil that. rakxe In another 25 yrs or so it will be forgotten because most of that generation will have passed away. These people destroy much more than a child's life and their family lives they destroy towns etc.

People often say times a healer- but not in all cases. I think it affected me more in later years, driving past, when my kids were a similar age to her- no words for the suffering, her family must have endured, as well as the blight of shame attached to the local community and wider town.

He should have never been released from hospital into the community.
He had threatened to kill a child if he was released.
And he used legal aid to pursue the author, Bernard O'Mahoney, for damages while inside.
Meanwhile the judges threw the case out against Rosie's mother, Beverley as they did not want to attach any blame to the doctors who released him from hospital.
How much money has been spent on him in total, hospital and prison costs!!!

A slow painful death after he pleaded guilty would have been the right thing to do.
The damage he caused is beyond words.

I am sure that a social worker reported to Cleveland County Council that he had threatened to kill a child if he was released.
Nothing was done about the report.

The killer won't even be put on the sex offenders register, ironically the case being one that was used to set up such a register.

Maybe he should be released back on the streets of Hartlepool and see what happens to him!

I watched a drama about Brady/Hindley last night. It’s still a difficult watch after all these years.

it will never be forgotton now or the area where it happened. it would not shock me if the area of there crimes is some sort of sick tourist spot. crimes from the 1860,s will be long forgotton and just in local history books that need some research at that.

Many years back when I lived in Bury my neighbour was a criminology trainer for the Police. He was obsessed with this crime and said a lot of the torture was never put in the media it was so cruel. Yet the media did indeed give a horrendous account of what it was allowed to print so god knows what else they did to these innocent petrified children. rakxe He once took me up to one particularly area on the moors ( not official just obsession ) because he was convinced he could find clues leading to that particular missing young boy. ( If memory serves a girl and that lad had not been found back then ) He had a lot of clues etc with him but found nothing of note. However the thing I did experience in one area of these crimes was a strange sickness feeling while walking about. It was bizarre he told me lots of people say the same while walking around. I cannot explain why or what but it was a beautiful summers day yet felt very strange. Once we walked away but still on the moors the strange feeling left. Can't explain to this day but do wonder.

know a copper who was a regular in WW2 getting seconded to the lancs constabulary for the moors murders and said it was the most horrific thing he had ever come across that included the nazi death camps. not one who spouted for the sake of an audiance so it must have been bad.

I agree Accy. What gets me about this case is why sctatchinghead Why would a young couple even contemplate such horrific crimes in the first place. We know the official story but there must surely be more to this sctatchinghead I do not know enough about the story really it was before my time. But my gut tells me now looking back this was much bigger than a so called deranged evil couple and possibly a cult type thing. Like I said its just my gut feeling ...

My father-in-law was a prison officer in Durham when Brady was brought in. The governor told him he must guard the door, no-one goes in & no-one goes out until the governor comes back the following morning. The following morning, the governor turns up & asks the father-in-law if Mr Brady is ok & if he had been checking on him during the night? He replies with "that piece of shit doesn't deserve to be called Mr Brady, I haven't checked on him at all, I hope the bastard has hung himself"

that shows that times have not changed that much as there was a soft approach at the top back then. if the bastard had hung himself i guess your in law would have lost his job before the funeral.
