It's always good to know that another set of fans are even more pissed of with their season than we are with ours. Couldn't happen to a bigger bunch of knuckle draggers.

Rich American owners, bought an entire new team in the January transfer window and still crap!

It looks like bringing in an expensive has-been (Mark Hughes) is going to do for them what Dave Jones did for Pools.

Signing Hughes was the sign of too much money and too little understanding of the game by wet behind the ears owners.
Having money’s one thing but a fool and his money.etc etc….
Surely this is Hughes last stand as a manager, whose ego is his main organ in his body…even though an organ it ain’t, but surely played it’s last tune…

A club as badly run as Pools, maybe more so. A city like Carlisle should have a much better football club than they have.
They signed a great centre half in Paul Huntingdon a couple of seasons ago but then proceeded to slowly fill up their side with lots of non league players who are of a non league standard, and as a result it looks like that's where they are going to end up, AGAIN !

no coincidence that bradford city improved after his sacking. like dave jones was he is living off glories of the past and his name. still feel now if we had sacked jones eatlier we would have survived that season. if carlisle were brave enough sacking hughes today might give em a small chance of survival or going into next season stronger as you cannot see him staying for a season in the national league getting the piss taken out of him with defeats at places like solihull and tamworth.

Carlisle has a population of 74,000….20,000 less than Hartlepool.

Hartlepool is full of people who 'support' big clubs. Apparently all you have to do is buy a shirt, a dodgey telly stick and refer to the club as 'we' every time you mention it.

Doesn’t change the fact though does it….that’s an Artlepool attitude which I studied at Mucky Neck College…half the town is optimistic and the other half is utterly why bother defeatist…can’t argue with it.
Do you want to take part in the survey…?

‘Catchment area’ I know it well
PS…..they’re on the border with Scotland and Queen of the South is 20 minutes up the road…why would any real Scot come over the border to fraternise with the enemy… the ‘English’ half are sheep and sheep shaggers with the IQ of a 20 watt bulb.
Which is proven every time they visit us.
Have a nice day……

kick a dog too many times and thats what you get. cannot be many places where factories were shut down in there numbers when the rest of the country never had it so good. when unemployment was an issue in the area many places in the north away from the NE were doing quite well with jobs a plenty.

or the ones who actually go and support another club. always wonder how many i pass on the A19 coming up are going in the opposite direction from the area to watch someone else. remember a few years ago going to stockport with my lad and the town seemed full of manchester club shirts. now they have got there act together and you see less of that in comparison. if they can do it so could pools given the same financial chances.
