Good riddance. Football league money has gone and as predicted 18 month ago he would stay until that's gone.

Says he’ll continue to pay staff wages till the end of the season and funding till the last match.
We live in interesting times.

Let's hope there's someone willing to pick up the reins, staying at this level for the start of next season is paramount.

Think this could be the end of us. He’s had ‘credible offers’ and interest but dismissed it. If this was the plan all along why not sell to the consortium last year who met his initial asking price?
Reckon he will hang on to the club until the end of the season, ‘no one credible’ will come forward and then we’ll be put into admin.
Nice swipe at the fans on his way out too

To be fair he's every right to have a go at some fans, there's enough had plenty of goes at him isn't there? He's been basically called a thief, a liar, and more so can understand him having a dig back.

He has more than enough back. He’s created this divide with the trust all himself seen as they answered his call to find a buyer, only to be messed about by the man himself. He knows exactly what he’s doing in that statement by blaming them for him leaving.
He saved the club when no one else would but has left us in the same place; floundering in the national league with large debt and the threat of administration from the current owner

He's not having a go at 'some fans'. He knows exactly who he's trying to blame, trying to divide supporters. Childish.

Hmmmm….

It’s a bit rinse and repeat isn’t it? This is a carbon copy of his last ‘I’m leaving’ statement. It’s a bit like someone resigning from the Bunker in a fit of huff but keeping their account live.

Don’t forget he’s locked in to a large extent. To get the rest of his money back he has to sell as a going concern. To stop funding Pools means he loses all his equity. Perhaps he’s decided to take what he can get and put the rest down to experience. I don’t know but the story isnt finished just yet.

As for the supporters group; I’m not sure who he means. I don’t believe the trust has been abusive. Critical certainly but abusive? I believe that Walter Mitty Shithead’s cronies in the NWC have indeed been directly abusive but I suspect that RS means the trust but using emotive and incorrect wording.

Interesting times. Perhaps we’ll be in the Wearside league this time next year.

I think it'll be a lot smaller "we" if it's a phoenix club. That'll be my finish, probably not enough years left to see us get back to even this level. I won't be wasting my time travelling to see HUFC 2025 play Prescott Cables and the like.
Hopefully we somehow start next season in NL.
Worrying times for everyone.

That's the best possible outcome but let's not forget either that a new owner or owners will need to have real money to keep the club afloat. Then again, improved strategic management wouldn't be difficult. Smaller EFL 2 and NL clubs than us have done well on less...

If it’s a cliff edge could we hang on to any players if the finance ends on the last game of the season…?

Seems strange that he waitied for one of the consortium members to make a move on another club and now wants out. Who knows what happens behind the scenes but the timing isn't great. Wasnt he going to walk away last year in March too?

Time for the previous, so called consortium or business who where interested, to step up and come forward.

I bet they won't be seen anywhere near the Vic over the coming weeks (hoping I'm wrong), they probably found something else to invest their money in.

Will be loads of interest but only after A.
No point in believing in fairy tales.
Would also add blame game between fans is totally pointless.

Yeh something needs to give
Singh deserves credit for saving the club and promotion but the last 3 years of decision making has been abysmal and everyone is pretty sick of each other

His thin skinned dig at the trust is pathetic and shows why he’s not cut out for this, there was a similar fit of pique at darlo too
As said above if he’s genuinely done then give club away , the other choice is fold it, but either way he gets nothing it would seem unless he uses liquidating us as leverage ?

Certainly not going to fill the players the ones still under contract full of confidence knowing there is a strong possibility they won’t be getting paid after the season finishes.
Any new owner will need to fund the club through the close season with no income then relying on Season Ticket sales for funding not unless they have pot of cash.to work with.

There's not a cat in hells chance that he'll give the club away, and why would he if he feels he's owed money?
His worst case scenario would be no buyer steps in, then he puts us into Administration and as major creditor he gets the returns of any assets that the Administrator can sell.
The phoenix club that some on here were calling for could be stirring.

It's 100% Admo.
Then it's 2 choices for the towns people.
Stay bitter n twisted to your graves
Or. Back the new Regime like Exeter people etc n other clubs.

Great foundation having the ground but the Sing lovers won't like that.

Do we have the ground if the club goes pop? I'd imagine that in those circumstances the lease is torn up and the new club would need to apply for a new lease which may or may not be granted.
I'm not sure what happens if the club was bought out of Administration, would that be a points deduction at the start of the next NL season? Obviously if it's then liquidated there'd have to be a new application to join the league at something like tier 8 or 9.
Today there's zero certainty about any part of the football club and the potential for fairly large numbers of staff losing their livelihoods which regardless of personal views on Raj's tenure will be devastating for some.

Come on ..that’s a very tenuous link and no reason for clinging to our present ownership.
If the Council were dumb enough to kick us out and turn then the Ground into something else, they’d have a short shelf life as a Council….and never be forgiven.

I'm not clinging on to anything. Just looking at (what seem to me to be very real) possibilities.
Hopefully a new buyer is found and it's business as usual regarding our NL status in the short to medium term.
With respect to the ground, would a phoenix club be able to afford to stay at the Vic even if the rent is fairly low, the maintenance and match day costs may not be sustainable? Maybe invite another club to groundshare could be a cost effective option?

Good riddance ! Shit or bust time now, but I'm prepared to take that risk. Singh just kept the club on a life support machine, and with him at the helm it could've ended up dying anyway.

A bit concerned he is still here until the end of the season though, is this just a smokescreen, one last cry for help, a buyer so to speak.
