That's easy- Flid rinse and repeat
We'll score first then collapse
Hit the woodwork, have at least two kicked off the line, stonewall penalty turned down, not to mention the home keeper having the game of his life.

Skippy will say that he thought we should have won as that's what the XG tells him, and that he can't fault the players for their commitment. He also believes that the tide will turn soon (Though we all know that the tide comes in and out twice a day)! :angry-screaming:

If we had shown the same recent form as Eastleigh, it could have been a great match, with both teams going for a play off place.

After our away win at Sutton, we were 4 points ahead of Eastleigh and there was talk of a play off spot.

Now Eastleigh face Pools at home 7 points ahead, I can see that being 10 points come 5pm this Saturday.

4-1 like a lamb to the slaughter. But hey don't worry Mr.Burns tells us we have a sound management team in place and it will come good very soon. Good job Mr.Burns is not baking a cake because it would have burnt to a cinder waiting for it to become good.

Hate to admit this BUT if LL had still been in charge we could be nearer the POffs, Will we not be this far away i,m sure.

Can’t help but agree with you - whichever numpty at Pools (and there are several suspects) came up with the bright idea of swapping a vastly experienced football manager at a significantly higher level for a wannabe whose CV highlights include TNS, Woking FC and the Rock of Gibraltar? Lenny the Lion hardly had Pools pulling up trees but he had steadied a heavily listing ship previously torpedoed by the repulsive Sarll and put Pools in with an outside chance of a playoff place.

All of the above at a crucial stage of the season. ‘Only at Pools’ I hear the cry, which is correct but as usual no one is likely to hold their hands up and take responsibility for the early death of yet another season.

Waited till a string of very winnable games were on the horizen and handed over to AL.

Go back to the 70’s….an away draw was bliss, an away win justified a firework display….. easy pleased but we had the history of never having experienced any sort of real success…once you’ve tasted it …it’s never quite the same…you can’t go back to those naive but fun days of failure and wishing.

the buggers were just biding their time till we discovered them to pay for everything in the hope that tonight would be the night. instead of a big win the best we got was a score draw and an empty pocket.

Al is forever saying they(Players) have trained well/hard this week.
Which is absolutely bollocks.

I,ve know players who were shite at training, But come match day they were on fire.
Some players are competative during training, But imo most are not.
If he can,t see body languge during a game then he should stick to coaching, Some are just not meant to be mangers.

The above is me being polite.

Would love to agree and be proved wrong with my prediction but I cannot envisage this sterile, impotent squad scoring three goals across four games let alone one. So, 3-1 Eastleigh- but the lads will certainly not be faulted for their effort.

need to stick the laptops up there arses and rely on their eyes and brains if they have got them. mind you there will be some positives from the game. the players arrived there on time therefore the club would not be fined.

well surely its something we can build on and without the interuption of a mid week game we,ll have a week on the training pitch to sort out any problems we had on saturday. the lads are buzzing and cannot wait for the game. no new injuries with dan dodds not being as serious as we thought and garry madine has recovered from his virus and is available for selection but the goalkeeping situation remains the same.

Limpers going on about how brilliant MannyD is at defending.
Maybe accepts new contract as a defender.
Think he's already retired as a centre forward.

Be very surprised if any other clubs want to take him on.
Overated comes to mind more than the lack of service excuses.
Opinions hey.

It’s like the team side is breaking up and lost interest….is there any team spirit because if there is they’re doing an excellent job of hiding it.

Higgy mentioned a few weeks back.
That the players who haven't been offered new contracts yet know they are gone.
And different players will react to it differently.

A few variations IMO.
RIP ya bollocks off n put yourself in the shop window.
Go into can't be arsed lazy mode.
And if rumours are correct a few will accept pay cuts to stay.

Total lack of respect n discipline rooted into this regime of HUFC.
