I last had a drink with him about 5 years ago but haven't seen him since. Lost a leg when he got hit by a car outside the Blackies about 20 odd years ago. Hope he's still about.

If the big Ben climber was a farmer or so called bullshit made up far right he would be looking at being locked up now and fast tracked on Monday for a lengthy prison sentence. banghead

Saw on the news they had nine emergency vehicles …..ignore him and leave him up there…just have two cops waiting till he comes down and lock him up.
He’ll soon get peed off when the temperature drops.
The roads have all been closed around the area…open them, if he falls under a bus it’s self inflicted.

Imagine the cost of this nonsense on a Saturday of all days. Oh no worries though the nice people of the U.K. are stupid and won't mind paying that bill via taxes. Only in the U.K. do people get away with this shite. banghead

Should have saved the expense …carried on and left him there…Nick him when he eventually came down.
Ignore him and don’t give him coverage..just a written comment and no mention of any cause and it’ll soon die out.
I blame the meeeeeja.

robert powell managed ok in the 1978 version of The 39 Steps without the need of emergency vehicles.
