Spent sometime yesterday analysing some of the most recent Parliament " clashes " oh me ribs. The room is full of nodding heads / childish clappers / and school yard cheers. I struggle to understand how more of you don't realise it's simply one big soap opera. Everytime a " real " vote takes place everyone backs it 100% funny that. sctatchinghead No matter who gets in power it's a totally lost cause because the damage was done from Blairs days. We cannot win no matter how much we huff n puff we're fooked basically. I was on holiday ( 1984 ) and met a lovely old couple from London on the plane who stayed in the same hotel. I was only a youngun back then but me and our lass spent virtually the full week with this couple who must of been in 60s. We had planned to go clubbing etc but ended up spending most evenings out with these two wonderful people. Turned out she was someone to do with the house speaker and he was something to do with lambeth council. Hindsight is a wonderful thing I wish I had been interested more in British Politics back then because she was more than happy to tell us a few trade secrets. I do however remember her saying " they are all close friends who went through the same education process " and not each other's enemies like people believe. She asked who I vote for and I said I don't vote and never have. I asked her " why do you think I should vote " she laughed and said listern dear voting is a comfort for the masses and doesn't make any difference whatsoever. If anyone has any idea how I could locate the names ( deffo be dead now ) I would be interested. My ex has pictures but cannot remember their names ( a list of everyone employed in Parliament) would help. He was a black bloke and his wife white ( she may have been called Mary ) not sure. Please don't have nightmares do sleep well.

Not sure whether this will help, but there are photos of Lambeth council, could he be one of the black men?

Wait for it yes Snowy, another post where you mention Starmer, you’re paranoid about the fella and me supporting him. Where have I ever mentioned my pin up is Starmer, i have posted many times I do not support Starmer or the current centralist Labour Party.
Your pin ups will the previous 6 Conservative Prime Ministers, is your wall big enough to accommodate them all.

Can you re-write you message with more candles lit in your bamboo residence, as it reads like a letter from some-one who has learned English from a correspondence course and never heard English spoken or written.
From what I can translate you say ‘Stamper is a banker’ and you are a ‘Troy’…..whatever that means.
Keep trying Ben Gunn it’ll come eventually……not in this life, but hopefully in the next life for you.

How long did it take you to realise that Leggie, whilst the politicians are continually slagging each other off they are all ‘mates, pi** in the same pot. The money people rule the planet, you have money you have power.

Obviously  ….so does that include your pin up Starmer..?

No idea what you are on about Snowy, think you need to go to Specsavers, where did I say Stamper was a banker and you are a Troy ?
BTW you can’t have candles in a bamboo hut, it would go on fire, you might be surprised at the standard of housing here, never seen a bamboo one though.

Of course you don’t understand…..only you could give a lecture on Thai fire safety regulations (Bamboo fire precautions 45/6aaf/ 999) and miss the irony.
The gift that keeps giving (unintentionally)

All a bunch of selfish bastads. :angry-tappingfoot:

many used to travel by train together as good pals only to pretend to slag each other off in the chamber. more or less its a big well paid game but they are using us all as pans in it. thats when they actually turn up as most of the time the place is like death valley with wide open spaces. they all have an excuse for never being there or taking parts in a debate. then so many are more bothered if a candidate is local or lives in the town they represent than what they actually do. more reasons to join the abstain party, but need to be careful as there are a growing part of our communities who aint bothered about all those things and they,ll get there way with a block vote and then end up running the show.

I will ask you again Snowy, where did I say Stamper was a banker and you are a Troy ? You never answered, just changed the subject like a politician would do.
It looks like you actually took my comment seriously about bamboo huts and candles, people here don’t live in bamboo huts even in the remote regions.
BTW it’s 911 for emergency services.

I have noticed Snowy you reply to a question by asking one, never give a straight answer.

Ok you asked for it..read back on this topic and you made a comment about fire risks in places in Thailand…I made a gentle quip as I found it mildly amusing you should quote Thai Fire Regs……so I added a made up mock Thai Fire Reg number for effect….because 999 was on for effect you pulled me up and told the number was 911….if you don’t see the irony of it I do.

There your request granted, now what’s your trade…?
