I wish everyone had watched the full 53 minutes of Trump and Zelensky not just 13 minutes from biased news channels. When I first seen the 13 minutes I thought that does not look good for American. So I decided to watch the full 53 minutes and it's obvious to a blind man Trump give Zelensky respect for 40 minutes until the cameras turned live and Zelensky tried to dictate the terms. Before anyone jumps in please look at the full meeting you may even change opinion.

I suspect that not only Starmer the Snake Charmer will have persuaded Zelensky to finally use basic common sense instead of yet again utilising his posturing and whinging for more weapons as is his wont. The European leaders and most likely Zelensky’s comrades must also have appreciated the heightened death and destruction that would have befallen Ukraine without US support. I wouldn’t be too surprised if Zelensky is usurped or steps down before too long.

I’m not condoning what the Ruskies have done in Ukraine but has the UK never committed any atrocities in building and defending the British Empire over the past 500 years? War is hell and unfortunately it is the innocent who primarily suffer whether by accident or targeted attack.

Bringing peace to 2 major areas of conflict within a couple of months of coming to office will be a huge success in most people's opinions, especially the young men of Ukraine and Russia.
We've had over 3 years of Putin, Zelensky, Biden, Boris, Truss, Sunak, and Starmer with the word peace hardly being uttered never mind being anywhere near happening.
Trump might not be anyone's favourite person but he's getting things done. And if anyone thinks fighting on without Trump onside is preferable to peace they are deluded.

I'd say it's pretty disgusting urging the war to continue rather than pressing for a seat at the table to negotiate an end to it. Putting principles before other people's lives is such a noble thing.
Nobody's talking about the atrocities because there's no argument that they're happening.

Even if you were making a valid point (you ain't) the difference is that the people coming to tables are high level officials in Russia and Ukraine. The repulsive gloss over of Russian atrocities is right here in this very forum.
