I'm watching the York/Maidenhead game on Dazn right now. Geez the standard in this league is bloody awful. Bullet point take aways...

1) Manni O is doing a decent job for Maidenhead. Running his legs off - but he's got a mistake or two in him - so business as usual.

2) There aren't many players on the pitch right now over the age of 23 - so they're all running around with shed loads of energy and pace and trying really hard (as opposed to our lot of oap's).

3) Maidenhead went to sleep at the end (probably because they've been at work all day and have to go to work tomorrow).

4) Our squad vs Yorks squad - we should beat them on Saturday. Seriously it should be men against boys. The question is - can our lot be arsed to give 100%.

To summerise: York didn't look great. But they still beat Maidenhead - and we farted a 0-0 with Maidenhead last time out.

aldershot also won by a larger margin they did against us. mind you i watched tranmere v accrington which was supposed to be an efl game. the standard of play and finishing was no better or could say worse than at the vic.

If we do beat York it will not make up for the pathetic results so far this season!

It's a league where consistency is key and we've not shown any.

Consistenly poor so we are quite consistent. It would certainly be a huge surprise if we got anything against york.

its our inability all season to back a decent result after we have had one which has been the problem. pointless turning it on against york only to be followed by dross at fylde.
