No matter how the season’s gone,
He backs Raj Singh, keeps marching on.
“Trust in him,” Walter Mitty Shithead boldly said,
But now he’s silent, his words unsaid.

He kissed the chairman’s ring with pride,
Blind to the losses, still by his side.
“Raj’s the man,” he’d always claim,
While the team faltered, bringing shame.

With his head up his backside, he couldn’t see,
The team’s decline, or the truth, you see.
Easily fooled, he kept on the fight,
Ignoring the signs, he’s full of shite.

‘The Man who Never Was ‘…good film.
All about deception by creating a character to fool the ‘enemy’ into believing a certain course of action was being taken when it was in reality all a diversion, a ruse to distract while other more important steps were being taken.
The ‘enemy’ swallowed it hook line and sinker…land paid the price.

only problem was in the poolie version it would fool only the people it was meant to help.

Admittedly a drawback…but was it meant to help them or distract them…

I'm honoured to have received such a prestigious invite - will have to get some new leather elbow patches for my Tweed jacket, and will obviously ensure that all the pencils in my top pocket are duly sharpened for the occasion!

Fuck it, I'm going to buy a new pair of Farrah's too, and dig out my best brogues! rolf
