Sarly man is the love child of Mr.Burns. sctatchinghead Just think about it for a moment Mr.Burns was living in London and manager of Charlton from 1982 -91. Sarly man was born in 1983 in Hitchin which is 1.8 miles away or 8 minutes. And that would also explain the reason why he is still in the job when all the supporters want rid.

Hitchin is in Herts & Charlton is in SE London, way more than 1.8 miles between them & the only way to get from one to the other in 8 minutes would be by harrier jump jet!!

It was a joke1966  And you have spoilt it. Charlton is a name in 9 places in the Uk alone and something like 23 in the World. Next to Hitchin is a Charlton 1.8 miles and 8 minutes. All was a joke nothing else I even PM two Bunkerites to say its a wind up just in case someone like you came along and either said it could be true or it's wrong. so won't be needing your Harrier Jump now!! but thanks.

The Roseberry Topping bike ride was the best....54 miles I think we done that day.
11 pints on the way back starting in Middlesbrough and finishing in the Mill House (I think).
No mishaps whatsoever in 54 miles...until KPG got yards from his house and hit the kerb and came off!!!
