Apparently each town will have approx 10,000 new houses, which would be a total of 120,000, that's still way short of the 1.5 million new houses that Labour promised to build before the next election.

I'm also not sure where they are going to get all the bricklayers, joiners, roofers, electricians, plumbers & other workers from to build these 120,000 new houses, never mind the 1.5 million!!!

We have people in all Party’s who are detached from reality when it comes to the practicalities of these projects.
Windbags and Blatherskytes as me nana Lizzie used to say.
We have encouraged everyone but the cat to go to Uni and ignored the craft trades, you won’t build many homes with a Media Studies degree.

But they do it so easily with their theoretical modelling, who'd have thought trained tradesmen were needed when it's just a click of a mouse button in their world?

Unless they provide jobs to go with the new towns they will end up like ghettos same as the majority of the 60/70s new towns. Can anyone name one that has flourished?

I found it boring… I ‘discovered’ it driving up the old A5 to avoid the M1 from London to RAF Cosford…the Government of the day provided it with lots of decent white collar jobs attracting plenty of nice twee people.
It’s just al shopping parade on steroids.

Why don't they build these new towns in Africa.
At least most of the people living in them would feel at home!

Apparently the population of Blackhall is growing faster than any other place in the country, soon experts say it'll be larger than Hartlepool, South Blackhall will soon be encroaching on Hart Station, football historian experts have stated by 2050 the local professional football team will be known as Blackhall and Hartlepool Albion FC.

Or Newtown in Wales designed in 1967 but the fookwits could not come up with a name after over celebrating so just called it Newtown.

Exactly.
And what about the wildlife animals who will be evicted from their countryside homes.
Rabbits
Moles
Birds
Deers.
Sheep.
Cows
But a few farmers will strike it lucky.
A nice little earner.
