4-0 defeat will put to bed all this nonsense about getting into the play offs. If there was a chance of us getting in do you think Lawrence would have stepped aside.

Maybe he didn't have the final say? Raj and Hignett were thick as thieves in the beginning, but that didn't save Higgie from the sack.

Lawrence's last couple of games in charge showed that he had lost the plot - packing the team with defensive midfielders to play Barnet and then having just Campbell and Feaths in the middle to try to force a win at Braintree. It was all very reminiscent of Sarll's last games in charge. Sarll finished up not having a clue what his best team was and neither in the end did Lawrence.

Most successful teams have a system that they stick with through thick and thin, and 22 players who know exactly what their roles are when they come into the side. Challinor did it for Pools with his 5-3-2 and still does AFAIK.

Hope Limbrick knows how he wants his side to play - and that Lennie keeps his gob shut.

Today's team selection n formation will tell us if he's learned from all of Leonards mistakes.

Alright Kev you made your point. No need to post it twice.

So good he said it twice.

 It's always a sign he has missed his meds

Without Parkes we will shed 3+ Goals.
Is ManiD in midfield?
4-2 defeat on the cards!

In real terms 9 pts behind play offs.

So please no jacking off if we only draw.

2 mid table sides cancelling each other out. Cleary showing plenty of enterprise on the left again. Getting loads of crosses in but nobody got that touch of quality to convert. Madine tidy game. Mani in and out of the game. Waterfall solid. It’s going to be either a 0-0 or 1-0. Hopefully to us

Clearly once again the best player on the pitch. He got the right back on toast. Keep giving him the ball and maybe he will come inside for a change today. Still reckon he is the match winner in one way or another.

No they're not. At least they've got a bit of shape and their midfield is much much better than ours.

that'll do vital 3 points !

Bit of credit to limpdick too fro changing formations--not saying it was the difference but at least he saw we were going nowhere and tried to do something

now 9 points from next 3 a must !

If Raj can trouser a few quid for ManiD he should do so asp.

ManiD will not be missed as strikers who do not score are easily replaced.

Great win!

Very poor sutton side how ever very dominant from pools with out playing much football.

We gave them nothing so well organised from pools but how do you miss that many chancers.

Overall easy day for a change.

3 points in the bag, not a great performance but a wins a win.
Sort the midfield out for Tuesday please Limpy. Probably give Mani a rest too, start with either Folarin or Campbell alongside Madine.

One of our best away wins for a while in this league. Good for our new manager to get a win in his first proper game in charge. Hopefully we can follow it up on Tuesday.

I thought the manager had lost it when he went to three at the back with Dodds (who had a bad game), Waterfall and Fergie.
But it turned it around. And a manager who changes things for the better when we're under the cosh makes a refreshing change.

Fergie gets a lot of stick, but every single one of his corners today were great. Cleary is class - and Manny needs to be getting on the end of some of his deliveries.

Goal against down Fergys side again though. High risk going those 3 at the back, but it came off which is unusual for us. Got to build on that with 3 home games coming up.

The question is..
Was the equaliser off side? I don't care if it was, it's just conversational.

Cleary put some lovely crosses into the box…that went begging.
