I once asked for a volunteer, no one put their hand up.
Eventually after a long wait, one lad put his hand up, I said for volunteering you can have the rest of the day off.
The next day I asked for 2 volunteers, a fair few hands went up I can tell you.
Picked 2 of them and said you can clean the toilets!

I was hoping the latter fillum would give a clue to my fighting prowess, I'm very good at running away. I've made it a habit of checking to make sure that there's at least 1 person in my group who's likely to be a slower runner than me in the event of the shit hitting the fan. I'd very much be there in spirit though as I dissappear over the horizon!!
I'd definitely be up for the team building pre war build up though!!

Remember when we beat Hodgson’s team at the Vic and was walking over the marina bridge and a Darlo supporter with half a dozen Poolies in hot pursuit jumped on the No 7 bus to Middlegate as the doors were about to close … the bus pulled off with the Poolies banging on the side then they decided to run to the nearby Asda stop as the traffic was heavy….the bus just carried on ..so where he eventually got off god knows….I had my youngest with me and at 10 she found it funny asking if it was for the telly. :laugh:
