Signed for Portsmouth in the Championship for an undisclosed fee. Not good enough for the national league though according to some expert pools fans.

Luckily for you lads I’m not the sort of person who says I told you so

Suspect his contract was up at the end of the season so Barnsley cashing in now…wonder how long before he gets an England call up !!

He got told at Barnsley that he wasn't going to be number 1 as they have signed a keeper on loan from Aston Villa who played really well for them on Saturday. Killip apparently spat his dummy out and handed in a transfer request.

Pity he didn’t show that consistency when he was here then…..you can only go on the evidence of your own eyes, I don’t recall a petition to remain.
I go by what I see and stand by it….. no problem.
We’ll see.

He got a run in the side at Barnsley because of injury to their number 1. Didn't take them long to realise he's not good enough. 1 good game in 6 or so or the odd outstanding save doesn't make a great keeper. Regardless of what he dies elsewhere he will not be remembered in the same vein as Carson, Loach, Dimi, etc

Too true…..there’ll be no ‘told you so’ regrets from me because if he made the England team I’d still measure him by what he did for us …the only true and relevant standard of achievement to me.
He was inconsistent, occasionally very good..but unpredictable and did not instill confidence in fans or players bu their reactions some times…..wanting someone to do well is understandable, but facts have to be faced.

Fact is he was hopeless for us, cost us a lot of points with his schoolboy errors.

plus barnsley have dropped down the league recently where once they were odds on for a play off spot. feel too many remember him for the excellent final game he had for us and not the rest of his career. can hear it now that he,d have done better with waterfall and parkes in the side than with others in front of him. he still made errors that were not the fault of our defenders.

That’s what I’d be saying if my train was late reaching Southampton and the Titanic had sailed without me…and disappointment turned to relief.

Think it was the shit hair do, that was his undoing.
Almost like a reverse Samson- only he became more of a liability, the longer his hair got.

Should have lopped that god awful top knot off whilst he was still with us. His career has now improved since Trigger clearly had a word and now they've cashed in.

I was surprised that he's only signed until the end of THIS season- so they can't have spent that much on him. Probably be released in the summer and end up playing for Airdrie next season in the Sweaty league!

with my luck the white star line would have moved me from another of their ships onto the titanic or have won a trip on it in a raffle.
