Right outside it. If you're there before 2pm there's a big car park right outside and an away friendly pub called the Millhouse. Or the Marina, HUGE car park with a pub called the Jacksons Wharf only five minutes walk away.

night match so getting there before 2 will deffo get you a parking space - bit of history tween two sets of fans so the marina will be best , jacksons wharf for a scoop and a 5-10 easy amble to the ground - you'll want the right hand side as you look from the marina

enjoy it but play badly

if the club is allowed to buy the ground back from the Council, that won't be a problem in the future we hope..................

for fook sake is this board the bunker or the blinker

cos you dont see it, it doesnt happen
cos yo dont condone it, it doesnt happen

carlisle and hartlepool fans have on many occassions in the past come across each others path and there is a history of violence - my assistance in helping this gentlemen and the mentioning of this fact is to assist him and steer him clear of possibe provocation that may occur if he ventured in the wrong direction.

I'm sure his advice to us wouldn't be

"when you're next in carlisle go on the train, call into the caledonian for 11 bells have a few scoops and a wander up to the beehive"

It would be different indeed from this

I don't think it is blinkered, the people who have the 'history' are the ones who go looking for it.

I've seen it simmering in Carlisle before and indeed kicking off, but I you aren't into that carry on you don't get involved, Its the same when we play Darlo really. I had a beer before the game with Darlo fans around me and visa versa at the White Elephant, Jesus I was even stood near Hutchy

On the same note, how much is it for an away fan these days? Wild speculation has it that it's near 20 English pounds, but I admonished the pasty faced youth and stated, quite robustly, that it was quite out of the question for a team of Hartlepool's diminutive statue (no offence) to charge such an outrageous sum.

Quoth I: It is quite out of the question for said team to charge such a sum, after all they are not champions or anything (no offence).

Then I was quite amazed that he unloaded a shedload of abuse, saying that I was an ill-informed ........ I think he then used a colourful expletive, that I should take a look at the league table and 'have a bloody look' at the relative positions, 'no offence' he said.

Pah! The youth of today, they know NOTHING! In light of this, I am requirous of accurate information so I can put this issue to rest and put this imbecile in his place!

Regards,

Lord Ars£

I can confirm that you will not be charged a sum "near £20".

With the weather being just this side of "a bit parky" I assume that a light dusting of snow will not be the Walsall excuse of choice this season? May I take a wild guess at what will take its place?

By the way, the price is a mere £18*

*if you forego the away enclosure and stand with the cool kids on the home terrace

NOTHING, will stop the Walsall juggernaut getting to their destination this season!

Having said that, discretion is the better part of valour. The sun gets quite low this time of year and those migrating geese are a much unpublicised motoring hazard! Seriously, Whizzer has banged his toe, Brutus is feeling a bit peeky after his holiday in Wales, Ginger and The Duke are up in court for soliciting and Vercingetorix is in theatre following the incident with the beachball.

Its the Bunker...........and we will share beer with all fans

cos you dont see it, it doesnt happen

See what?

cos yo dont condone it, it doesnt happen

What doesnt happen?

carlisle and hartlepool fans have on many occassions in the past come across each others path and there is a history of violence rolfl rolfl - my assistance in helping this gentlemen and the mentioning of this fact is to assist him and steer him clear of possibe provocation that may occur if he ventured in the wrong direction.

Would it have been easier to give him directions to the Mill House Car park, then into the Mill House Pub.....instead of the veilled warning?

I'm sure his advice to us wouldn't be

"when you're next in carlisle go on the train, call into the caledonian for 11 bells have a few scoops and a wander up to the beehive"

If we asked him the same question I feel confident he would give us the advice we require.

It would be different indeed from this

Thank fook for that

give him directions to the millhouse then for fook sake and it's fine array of hand poured beers.

to provide assistance to a carlisle fan and advise him of a SAFE place to park and drink is being VISITING FAN FRIENDLY.

I'd rather innocent fans were not caught up in any 'grown men' gesturing and handbags at forty paces but it doesn't always happen that way.

And i'd rather you bought me drink anyway.

Yeah but it was probably less hard than Pools duffers vs Carlisle duffers.

Anyway it wasn't England who fought the French it was the French themselves; well, except for that Napoleon guy later on.

Jesus! Wasnt expecting this

Anyways, cheers for the info. Doesn't look like we're going to sell out our allocation which is poor as normally we take 1000's to northern games. Suppose being on a tuesday night and our shocking performances of late have put people off. Unless we sell out the remaining 100 or so today or on monday then there'll be some empty seats which I thought would have been un-thinkable. I even took half a day off to go and queue on the day they went on sale because i thought they'd be in high demand banghead

Im looking forward to it though, should be a decent game of football, I hope.

it won't be a decent game based on us yesterday, and what you say about your recent games!!!!! However, I think overall that two sides in 4th and 5th respectively haven't got there by being poor thus far. I believe it will be a cracking match. I also think we'll see the crowd atmosphere return to form for this one.
