To be fair to Achille’s, it’s a name with a proud record and nothing to be ashamed of by any stretch of the imagination.…the name was used on a cruiser involved in the Battle of the River plate tackling the pocket battleship Graff Spee in Dec 1939 and suffered severe damage and fatalities in the encounter
It won several battle honours and survived the war,

I am quite sure I read that it is the seventh ship in the Royal Navy to be named Achilles, so the name is steeped in Naval history, if that is correct. Anybody confirm that. Snowy????

Well I guess nothing has changed teacher training wise then since I was at school because I was always to blame for a teacher having a wobble day at work.
