These small clubs are fighting for there lives so it's obvious it was going to be a hard game. To be fair to them they put in one hell of a shift and throw their bodies in front of everything to stop us. People need to understand there are no easy games in this league and we have no god given right to expect the points.Today I would say they had more to lose than us and wanted it more if I am honest. I would have taken a point before the game if offered at least that would have been a step in the right direction, although others might not agree. I would ask the supporters to stay with us and let's see where we end up because we still in that group behind the top 7 and who knows anything can happen. Sorry I need to stop the interview I just pissed myself again and it's dribbling into my shoes and my feet are getting cold.

A ‘Reason’ is considered a fair and logical justification for not participating in something. An ‘Excuse’ is a pretence or subterfuge that can logically be overcome.
For example a Reason may be – that it is physically impossible to participate in exercise such as holidays, ongoing obligations elsewhere or broken leg. An excuse may be – that you feel tired, had a big night or have a bit of a sniffle.
Basically the reason Pools aren’t very good is the squad isn’t good enough, no amount of excuses will make it better.

To be fair,it must be tough on the players.
A few hours on a luxury coach, over night stay in a nice hotel, nice food etc, then a short journey to the game.
They must be worn out by kick off time.

I assume your comment is tongue in cheek, many of the teams in the NL don’t have the luxury of overnight stays and travelling in a luxury coach but on the train.

I used to have it tough, drive from Hartlepool at 3 am on a Monday morning do 4 x 12 hour shifts staying in digs not a luxury hotel, meals were indifferent.Finish Friday at 1pm then repeat on Monday morning again, tired never and I was older than the current squad.

Price has crashed since, currently 9/4, so at that price you have missed the boat.

Well we couldn't beat them at the Vic in August. Of course Sarll is no longer in charge but the players are more or less the same. I will be amazed if we win this game. It's got draw written all over it.

I got it on at 21/10 daft £10. I missed the 4/1 and the 9 /4 but hey it's just still alright for my little tenner. If it wins brilliant if not it's a little bit 9f fun and entertainment. BTW last time I bet a horse was Aldaniti (?) that won the National a billion years ago. My wife has been around horses for many years and her sister worked for John Wade a family friend for 20 yrs. John has passed recently but whenever we visited his home / stables / and online racecourse in Sedgefield I never asked for any tips and he never offered any. I did however ask him to buy pools back in 2002 and he just laughed out loud and poured more vodka. He became extremely rich after buying a quarry from a bloke he drove a tipper for on his retirement. Good bloke down to earth but never married just had a lady friend with her own house on his vast land. He once told me he had nobody he could to leave his wealth to.

Rebecca has a 5 year contract that was put in place before he died. I believe it is with the the view that she can buy it if she can afford it at the end. That's typical of John putting a deal in place frozen price wise for 5 years giving her time to grow into it if you like. He was given the exact same chance when he bought the quarry from his boss many years ago.

Colarado kid & Nortonthorpelegend both owned by Maria who trained all the horses and run the stables and training at Johns yard. Always right was the best horse of the lot and was often rode by my sister in during training etc. He ran in the Grand National in 2011 but got unseated. There was also Stormy Lord , Devils Run , General Hardi , Riskier , Polar Gale, King of the Artic , La Platino , Shulmin , Persian Price , Love that Benny.

Thanks, enjoy your winnings.

All about the value for me, win or lose, a good value bet was secured.

Odds of 4.92 after commission and with the BSP (true price) of 3.15, that was an edge in my favour of some 56%!
A nice winner for me as I had gone through a bad spell these last few days, thankfully I had a great run of 10 winning bets out of 20 last week which more or less has set Jan up to be a decent month.

And a nice early finish for me today!

He's already mentioned 3 games in a week is tough.
Dosent realise there ain't 2 Saturdays in a week.

Leonard Resign if you have a millitude of self respect.

Let the Aussie have a dummy run for 3 months.

you have to realize the whole squad suffers from travel sickness and the change of water upsets their bodies.
