He's not exactly wrong but what PTID says above is right, we needed to take advantage of the worse teams to be able to write off games against the best.
The bigger issue for me is LL has said we can't deal with Barnet/Gateshead/York, but we'll have to play at least one of those teams if we are to get in the play offs. If everything stays the same but we sneak in 7th we'd have to play Gateshead away first then if (by some miracle) we win that then York/FGR. You don't get through the playoffs playing for 0-0 so either he needs to find a way to hurt them or just give up on the playoff chat.

pointless getting to the play offs apart from winning games to get there to keep the fans happier if you have not a cat in hells chance of proceeding further than the first game.

We go to FGRs (very good squad) and have a go, Lose (just) and i can live with that.
Then that defeatest tactics last night, And the club is shown up, Madine should have been on the moment we went 1 - 0 down.

The problem is, as PTID has said above, we have shown that we are not even good enough to take the points from the worst teams. That is the most demoralizing issue for me. We go into Saturday's game against Braintree, pretty sure we wont wont win and on current form, a draw is the most likely result. It seems to me unless something changes we could easily end up uncomfortably close to a relegation threat.

It's not even the defeats or draws, it's the manner in which we approach games. Last nights selection and tactics were embarrassing for a team supposedly targeting the play offs. The "have it" moment from Charman when he had time and acres of space shows our attitude. Every game is damage limitation rather than a genuine drive to take 3 points. Said it from the day he got the job Lennie is not the man we need, we'll finish between 10th and 15th imo having won a few, lost a few, drawn a lot.

When I saw the team sheet I assumed the coach had crashed and they had to use this makeshift team out of the survivors.

Why is it our ball retention is so poor, we lose the ball as soon as we get it, our movement is slow to ponderous, we don't support our forwards up top, our midfield is uncreative and so easy to play through, our defence is slow and the whole team seem to play within themselves?, what are we doing in training?, I see no improvement, shouldn't we be asking questions of the coaching staff, this is just not acceptable, we deserve much better.

Some excellent questions. You wonder why our coaching staff haven't noticed these obvious shortcomings. Maybe they have but dont know what to do about it. Is it that we just dont have any quick players so Lawrence wants to defend deep so we dont get caught out which means the gap between the defence and the forward players is too big? I dont know. Maybe others on here have ideas.

Keeping possession requires players to keep moving into space so the one in possession has options. Winning the ball requires the opponent to be closed down quickly which requires speed and an appetite for the challenge. The Tees commentator said it looked as though Barnet had an extra man!

To perform for 90 minutes requires pace and fitness which is patently lacking in the current squad, most of whom should be given their P45's at the end of this season.
The requirement will then be for a decent manager to recruit replacements with the desired qualities which are simply not good enough at present.

We have a 35 year old crab in feather already and we recruit Sheron, Sloggett and hunter who are all of the same limited skill set…Sheron the best of the bunch but there are no complimentary skill sets there all just units who do way better without the ball than with it (Sloggett actually equally shite either way)
Add to that charman who is the same head down and graft but no ability sort of player and we really are awful to watch and really poor quality wise

We can at least get shot of some of this shit but charman and hunter will still be around and am sure Monks will be still in a job to recruit more shit on an even cheaper budget
