6-0 if the loser plays a weakened side. 3-0 if he plays best avaliable. The only chance we have is to play best avaliable and put balls over the top for players to run onto because they are vunrable against those balls. But even if that worked could we hold on to a 1 goal lead sctatchinghead more chance of winning tonight's euro lottery.

We have no chance of securing anything tonight without the likes of Mancini, Madine, Grey - and Mani sparing his energy and not taking any risks ahead of his departure. Not worth risking injury to the few remaining decent players. LL should throw in the kids, the two new lads and settle for damage limitation.

Another manager who never made it at the top level but has done well with Barnet, play offs last season top of the league this season, he turned down the chance of the job with Swindon Town last season.

2-0 to Bees.
Pools stung twice after the intermission.

Pissing rain on and off for the past 48 hours down here so the pitch will be heavy. Dunno if that will suit us or not.

I suspect a 3-0 win for Real Barnet. Lawrence will say how good Barnet were and he was expecting a defeat in fact he thought 3-0 was a good result for us because it could have been a lot worse.

It’ll be the same turgid slow sideways/backward passing, going absolutely nowhere.

Yes I agree. If Auld Burnsey visited the Barnet forum instead of reading constant shit reports he would see the fans have been pointing out this problem all season.

Tell ya what, I wouldn't mind Pools having that "problem" cos they're at the top of the table.

True Ozzy but you would hope we would at least try to take advantage of the one weakness in their play. Then again maybe that's in the plans of the Burnsey only time will tell ...about 5 hours time. Don't hold your breath though

Easy win for Barnet, if they score early it will probably be 3 or 4 goal win for them.

Backs to the wall and ManiD in central midfield.
I wish I understood the modern game!

I'm normally quite hopeful but think it'll be a home win 4-2 to the Bees

Campbell and the new lad whose on loan with our goals

Crowd 2323
95 Poolies in attendance

We are parking the bus big time, and looking organized--4-5-1 with Barnet only having a couple of chances.

Zero quality going fwd though in midfield--Cleary looks useful, but I am actually starting to feel sorry for Sloggett now--so far out of his depth

0-0 at half time-we have defended well but, Barnet have hit the post, hit he bar and missed a clear 1 on 1

Cant see us being as fortunate or them as wasteful in the 2nd half

Doing much better than expected so far but with Hunter booked I am worried. Since the booking ( ref surrounded by Barnet players to get him booked when it looked certain he wasn't going to ) he is scared to put in any contract at all. Maybe better to hook him and put Feathers on because it's a big worry. Tin hat time me thinks.

Must be someone strong enough to launch into the penalty area.

The Barnet players are a total disgrace begging the referee to send off Sheron for what was a yellow. Same as first half with Hunter and the referee is very weak. How was the goal allowed with 2 balls on the pitch. sctatchinghead

intersting how barnet are all over us after they score as oppose to shutting up shop eh Len?

2-0 now and more likely to come--hopefully not a Gateshead 2nd half job
