I hope he keeps travelling too…in a straight line to infinity and beyond….never to return.

Weird. I'm not fussed myself. Tories were epically shit. Maybe my expectations have took a battering.

You must have low expectations and be happy with mediocrity.
Whatever floats your boat.

Happy?

Incidentally, the same people telling me off for complaining about Raj are having a right turbo moan-fest about Starmer. They can't budge him either!

When Raj takes £300 out of me back pocket, without my agreement, he'll get it don't you fret.
We can vote Starmer out but Raj stays until he decides to go.
Your comparison technique needs adjusting my friend.

If we actually had governments that considered the truth to be more important than spin and politicking, there would be consiiderably less "conspiracy theories and other BS". Johnson was a liar but Starmers blatant and routine disregard for the truth is frankly, sinister.

its bad enough having PM who lie, but its made worse by the situation of elected MP of their party losing the whip if they say anything or act against their wishes in a vote. more or less you voted for somebody who have had their wings clipped therefore cannot represent you.

Sounds just like Raj, promising the world, serving up shit.

Plus how is your drop in the ocean vote going to oust Labour? I can't do it either.

Sounds like a good comparison after all.

If by alternative viewpoint you mean wanting to stifle certain viewpoints then yes. How's your mate,? Raj that is.

I don’t care who wins, providing the Conservatives, Labour and the Lib Dem’s run by Postman Twat don’t get a sniff of running the country.

I'm not a betting man but I'm willing to put up £500 for charity.
You up for the bet??
Thought not.

The difference between Starmer and Raj is, one can stay as long as he likes and the other is the decision of the electorate, that is why I said we can vote him out. You can either see that or you can't....you decide.
If you can get Raj voted out then I suggest you get on with it. Good luck.

The fact still remains that it is possible to vote Starmer out, whereas there is no voting platform to get Raj out.

One is a fixture until he decides to go and the other is subject to the whims and wishes of the electorate. I don't need to form any new party to get him out, he's doing the job for us.

Maybe not enough willing to vote with their feet unless there's a viable alternative waiting in the wings?

Aye if, but enough people haven't yet have they. He could run the club down or up, whichever takes his fancy. You are assuming enough people will vote with their feet, even then there is no guarantee. There is a guarantee to the fact that this government will eventually have to go to the people. Raj runs the club as he sees fit and is answerable to nobody. That is where the comparison between the two falls down, which is my point. Raj has a choice, Starmer hasn't. Raj is there until he decides to go. The other point to be made is, if there isn't a sale to suit him he has the option of doing a Darlo. He has all the cards and no matter what we say or do will influence anything unless Raj lets it.
That is the reality, no matter how unpalatable that is. I only wish one of us Poolies could change it but so far no one has been able to do that. Maybe someone's numbers will come good tonight because over £80 million is on offer.
