You’re being very kind there Leggie…..If I had a choice of meeting him or attending a Pie, Pea and Anthrax party, the anthrax supper would get my vote every time.

Listening to Trump in his inauguration speech, it was noticeable that virtually everything he said was diametrically opposed to the current U.K. government.

Sir Keir, Lord Mandy et al certainly have their work cut out if they want to create a workable trans Atlantic relationship…

Might be worth pursuing actually because he does seem to get overlooked a lot.

I have the old Labour beliefs unfortunately the current party which calls itself Labour doesn’t.

Anyone rigidly sticking to one Party for life, …like a leech …..is a fool.
Party’s should be used for your own benefit and dispensed with when another Party has a better offer.
Elections are won and lost by the floating voters, not the luddites.

What party had the best offer at the last election, none of them had anything to offer, 2 middle of the road parties and 1 far right one whose backer was doing nazi salutes at Trumps inauguration by all accounts. The fact that only 60% bothers to vote shows how much interest the electorate has in politics.

correct apart from calling reform far right and musk doing a nazi salute. for years at the vic i have raised my right hand an arm when we score and thought sod all about it. will i have to go to my left now and practise for next satrrday. voters have realised now under the first past the post system its not worth bothering to vote unless your vote is worth it by living in an area where the numbers are close. pointless voting for the opposition in that area and if you are idle others will vote in the won who was bound to win anyway.

you are both correct and labour should have actually have still called themselves new labour and given the opportunity like the tories did to allow a left of centre party to be created like they did with reform on the right. people vote one way because it affects them and never for the greater good, interest rates or foreign policy.

If you're not a Labour fanatic then you must be far right, that's the way we're heading right now. As for Musk and his arm waving, who knows what it was all about, I seem to remember the Stormtroopers in a Star Wars fillum doing a similar thing does that mean they were all nazis?
Starmer got in as the least bad option but also on the back of who could tell the most porkies. He now looks as if he's shocked at what he's gotten himself into.

There’s a panorama out of all the US politicians doing exactly the same … but if he has a Tiger Tank in the car park… worry…..but in the real world, trying to call it a Nazi salute is scrambling in the dust for hope….clutching at straws.

So are you saying Musk didn't do a nazi salute??

He was simply holding his arm up to stop the no6 bus. bbolt

There’s a panorama out of all the US politicians doing exactly the same … but if he has a Tiger Tank in the car park… worry…..but in the real world, trying to call it a Nazi salute is scrambling in the dust for hope….clutching at straws.

It was a nazi salute done on purpose by him because he's very intelligent...not many people talking about trump.
He's a narcissistic megalomaniac lunatic.
