To all the Singh fans!

Another disgraceful chapter in Hartlepool United’s rapid decline under Raj Singh’s abysmal ownership. A pathetic 1-1 draw at Wealdstone—WEALDSTONE, for crying out loud—should be the final straw for every single fan who still cares about this club. Enough is enough.

Let’s be clear: this was not just a bad performance. It was a gutless, soulless showing from a team that reflects the mismanagement and sheer lack of ambition running through the club like a disease. Madines early goal, a rare spark of quality, was rendered meaningless by the team’s inability to hold their shape, create chances, or even act like they wanted to win. By the time Wealdstone inevitably equalized with a scrappy set-piece goal, you could see the writing on the wall. No fight. No pride. No leadership.

And speaking of leadership—what on earth is Lennie Lawrence still doing in the dugout? He’s 78 years old, for crying out loud! He should be enjoying retirement, not being dragged around like some relic of a bygone era. Football has moved on, but Hartlepool, under Raj Singh, is stuck in the past with outdated thinking and a clueless approach. What does Singh think Lawrence is bringing to the table? Energy? Fresh ideas? A bold vision for the future? Of course not! His appointment is just another sign of the utter incompetence at the top of this club.

And then there’s Singh himself, the man who has dragged this club backwards through sheer neglect and a lack of understanding about what it takes to succeed. Does he care about this club? Or is he just here to see how long he can cling on before the walls come tumbling down? His failure to invest properly, to bring in the right people, and to show even a shred of ambition has left Hartlepool United rotting in mediocrity. If he has even an ounce of respect for this fanbase, he will sell the club NOW. Not tomorrow, not next month—NOW.

The fans are the only people keeping this club alive, turning up week after week, spending their hard-earned money, and pouring their hearts into supporting a team that doesn’t deserve them. What do they get in return? This. A team going through the motions. A chairman who doesn’t care. A club that’s rotting from the inside out.

Raj Singh, do us all a favor: sell the club and leave before you drag us even lower. This is Hartlepool United. We are better than this, and we deserve better than you. If you can’t see that, you’re part of the problem. Get out. Now.

I would have thought more like a bitter and twisted Loid, still living in a cauldron of hate for Raj Singh. Can’t blame him to be honest but all of the above has been seen and heard on countless previous occasions. I actually agree with much of it but nothing’s going to change in the short term regardless of Bunker Baiting.

and we need the fans more than most. this is what winds fans up when out fans team is struggling to compete with clubs who get a third of our gates where and who makes up the difference. our numbers should be seen as just an edge on the others and not the only lifeblood the club has. its not 1954 anymore unfortunetly. it could be worse i suppose we could be carlisle fans with their numbers being outfought as a club by accrington and salford.

Here's my opinion for what its worth.
Remember when Raj took over, we were warned by Darlo fans on this board about what would happen, also how long was the list of potential buyers then?
Unfortunately we are stuck with him until he decides that the club is costing him too much and he walks way or someone offers him what he wants for the club.
If only some Hollywood actors where interested in..........(oh shit!)
So ask yourself if you are a businessman would you walk away having re-coup your investment or would you hold onto your asset and take a nice little dividend yearly while investing the minimum yearly to keep the club just bobbing along.
The club will continue to be ran on a shoe string budget (including managers salaries), until the crowds dwindle enough that it is costing Raj too much money then he will walk away.
Lennie Lawrence has managed over 1000 games, he knows we are not good enough in places but his hands seem to be tied, wait until next year and Featherstone is named manager.

Dark days ahead and I fear the worse, I hope I am wrong.

its a costly hobby for him and others who i doubt expect for one minute they will make anything out of it but good publicity if their team is a success. his biggest mistake was staying around after the torquay final and we might have been then in a better place to find an owner with real cash and he,d have left with a better fealing from the fans plus more money he,d have got then by selling compared to what the club is worth today. now pools had become a worn out corsa with a number of bad previous pwners that needs money thrown at it just to pass its next test never mind being really fit for purpose.

Singh doesn’t have a magic money tree, no way is he going to use his own cash to back Pools, he isn’t even a Pools fan. Singh is a business man, in business to make money and certainly isn’t going to squander what ever money he has on Pools.I think the majority of us realise that and all we can hope for is someone to buy Pools before we fall into the NLN.

As I see it, the big difference between us and darLO when Raj was involved there, is the stadium.

The folly that was the Echo Chamber, with its gold taps and heskilators killed their club, in running costs alone. They were never going to be able to sustain that, with there fan base- regardless of who was in charge of the club. No real surprise they went pop with that millstone around their necks.

Where as he only has a peppercorn rent to pay the council with us- so always going to be better for him financially.

None of us are privy to the finances of the club but maybe he puts in a similar percentage as to what he did at the loids, only their money was hoovered up by their ground.

Of course we want him to invest more in the playing squad- that will always be the case regardless of how well we're doing. But ultimately he's the boss and until he decides to sell up, we just have to get on with it.
