Maybe he didn’t want to give Wealdstone any info to help them plan, just a thought.

Lens YouTube interview.
Says Grey just had a groin operation (hernia).
Could be back in 4 weeks.

Not a chance it takes a lot longer to recover from that type of operation.

As for Mancini he's just a permanent sick note.
A bit of a lazy sciver for a young lad.
Accy seen right thru him.

Maybe a bit harsh but it's factful.

its a bit different not getting a contract at a division 1 efl club to getting one two divisions lower. we have not got a single player on our books capable of playing at that level.

Hartlepool United wish to provide the following injury update on Anthony Mancini and Joe Grey.

The pair missed Pools’ league fixture away to Wealdstone on Saturday due to injury concerns.

Mancini has experienced ongoing groin issues this season and pulled up last week in training.

The midfielder has begun his rehabilitation process, with the aim of returning to the pitch in a few months’ time.

Grey, meanwhile, has been playing with a sportsman’s hernia over recent months.

After the pain became too severe to play through, the attacker saw a specialist where surgery was recommended.

Grey’s surgery took place last Saturday and his first week of recovery has been positive.

It is expected Grey will be able to return to action in around two months’ time.

The Club will continue to support both players throughout their recovery process and we hope to see them back on the pitch soon.

Agreed, in fact I would have said three or four if anyone at the club is serious about reaching and competing in the play-0ffs. There is a fair bit of deadwood in the squad, surely some of these lads can be loaned out to NLN/NLS clubs for the remainder of the season?

We aren’t serious about making the playoffs….robbie sterling is writing his end of season post mortem already where injuries are flagged as derailing us and the conclusion is no
One made any mistakes and we have a lot to look fwd to next year etc..

I think lualua did ok , was one of the few players who put his head up when he got the ball but like the rest of that team zero pace.

Another 3 months of watching charman charge around like a headless chicken while we huff and puff in midfield and punt diagnosis balls fwd is going to be hard for even the most optimistic spinner at the club to dress up as a non shambles

Season tickets will be lowest for decades and the with the parachute payments gojng Raj has his excuses made already
