I think it's a pretty strong lineup of professional presenters (not that I have watched MoTD for years). Let's hope they also switch up the pundits as well rather than just listening to Shearer every week.

I’m OK with the new MOTD presenters, Chapman is sound and steady enough, Kelly Cates has done a good job on Sky TV and Gabby Yorath has plenty of presenting experience across the board. It could have been much worse ie yet more of the risible Alex Scott or junior airhead box tickets such as the embarrassing girlie that Look North have been pushing recently in Michael Bridges absence. I may even start watching MOTD again when Lineker finally fooks off. With Ian Wright already history all we need now is for Shearer to be kicked into touch as a pundit. Hope they don’t start including wimmen’s football highlights however - give the lasses their own show!

got to agree as they seem experianced and could be the best people for the job for once. presenting and commentating on anything is a skill itself and playing X number of games as a player does not mean you have this different skill. it will not get me to watch however as they,ll still fawn over something that happened in the game we might have seen something similar happening at the vic earlier in the day.
