So many decent people have been bullied into silence, out of fear of being called a racist, bigot or whatever else.

Let me be abundantly clear - there is NOTHING shameful about wanting to protect our borders, from both uncontrolled legal and illegal immigration.

Don't feel guilty, ashamed, in the wrong - the entire British system has been pushing that message on people for years, relentlessly making us feel regretful about believing in strong border control.

Don't buy it any longer. THEY are wrong. WE are right, and we are the majority.

Uncontrolled mass immigration is THE root cause of almost every problem facing our country.

People have seen their communities transform in front of their eyes over the last couple of decades. And somehow they're made to feel like they're racist for pointing that out? NO. It is simply not on. We must push back.

We've got entire areas of certain towns where almost nobody speaks English? And we're supposed to accept that as normal? It is NOT normal. It's happened there, and it will happen elsewhere too - at an increasing rate.

Migrants who come need to work, integrate, speak the language, live by our laws. If they don't? They're not welcome. It should be that simple.

A vast majority of Brits agree, but it's all done under whispers and in fear.

Incredibly controlled and limited immigration, where the needs of the British people are placed above all else, is a benefit to our country. The current chaos is not.

It's time to say enough is enough. Uncontrolled mass immigration has destroyed our country, almost beyond repair.

Do not be afraid to say so - you'll find that most people agree with you.

Serco are busy contacting private landlords so they can hoover up private lettings in order to house the "irregular" immigrants. If the "irregulars" are in rented accomodation they are not in hotels, so where they are and how much they cost the taxpayer is much harder to ascertain. Private landlords happy to go along with this because rent is paid promptly by Serco as are utility bills and any repairs. Of course Serco's money is tax payers money. So if 30,000 illegals are housed in rented accommodation it is no longer available to ordinary people. Is it wonder why there is a housing shortage! We are not supposed to notice or just blame it on market forces. British people being gas lighted by Starmer and Sunak before him, not to mention Johnson. Isnt it ironic that a soicialist government prioritize the needs of foreigners over those born here.

Nah.

its just one of many i.m afraid. Bigger problem for me is our attitudes. All this being offended for others and attempting to change our culture for any flotsom and jetsom who arrives is far worse than the immigrants themselves. plus this lazy cannot be arsed approach you see from many workers plus how people actually dress. once people made a big effort even just nipping to the corner shop. now they go in their dressing gowns before taking kids to school like that. basically the country is well and truly fucked and anybody thinking of bringing a baby into it needs to have a long think on what the last 25 years has given us.

It’s not uncontrolled immigration they apply to come the U.K. and permission is granted if they have all the reasons to do so. What needs to be looked into is what the questions are when applying for a viss. If you tick all the boxes a visa is granted, my partners visa application is straightforward asking about her parents, where she has travelled, political views, has she ever been a member of certain organisations which she hasn’t but you wouldn’t say yes if had been. I then put together a sponsorship letter indicating I will be providing the funds and the accommodation.

So you deny that mass unconhtrolled immigration is the root cause of almost every problem facing our country? While I might agree it may not be the root cause of almost every problem facing the country it must be up there in the top two or three.

I mean if the best part of a million people arrive in this country within twelve months there will be a lot of problems generated that did not exist prior to their arrival.
1. NHS at the point of collapse too many patients not enough staff
2. Schools over crowded and in some areas techers trying to teach classes where multiple different languages are spoken and English barely understood.
3. Where will these extra million people live, given the massive shortage of housing? Sure as hell will make it even worse.
4. Many of the million arrivals will work but may not pay more into the system than they and their dependants take out. Studies have revealed that immigration is not a benefit to the country because immigrants over all take out more than they pay in.
5. Many of the million wont or cant work so will exist on benefits. Benefits given to people have paid nothing into the system.
6. In a number areas community cohesion has been destroyed by the influx of foreign people.

I understand it is nice to be kind and liberal but the facts suggest mass uncontrolled immigration is crippling this country. Labour and the Conservatives show no interest in doing anything about this. In my view they are traitors.

I see, so it is the use of copy and paste that offends you and leads you to question the intelligence of the person posting the message? You tend to call people "thick" quite often dont you? What about the content of the post? If we forget about copy and paste and the intelligence of those who posted it, what do you think of the actual content?

When the numbers are converted into towns the size of Hartlepool it becomes clear that the country cannot accommodate them. We would need to build ten towns the size of Hartlepool to house the immigrants who have arrived in recent years. There are enough British homeless that should be given priority.

agree to a point but 4 and 5 can also be levied on our lot as well. there is a bigger fear than the ones coming in the future as the next will be their dependants invited over to join them. governments have done sod all to stop this as this country needs to be a world leader in something. thats either green issues or being kind to immigrants as there is sod all left where it can lead.

Well a lot of folks might give it a shot if accommodation, food, health care and mobile phone use all paid for. The £49 could be spent on booze and fags.

I dare say there's plenty don't have £49 a week to spend after all the bills and food have been paid for.

True

even more true if everyone put their heating on when they wanted, put the lights on instead of living in darkness or had to buy every item of food they eat. If i had that sort of cash free i,d be able to afford to come to the vic for every saturday game. thats after contributing for 47 working in some jobs i just hated.

"Incredibly controlled and limited immigration"
From the opening post.

Immigration is most certainly controlled, By the Government. And has been by succesive governments since Blairs lot.
Our Mandy even highlighted in 2013.
And its with the goal to dilute our Sovereignty.

You're all "far right". You are blaming immigrants for everything thats wrong in thiscountry and it isnt their fault. You are all racist and Islamophobic. We dont have very much immigration compared to other countries so stop complaining. We need immigration because of the falling birth rate and lazy British folks who wont do certain jobs. These immigrants are people just like us. I think that sums up what the pro mass immigration types would say.

Well we all know who is to blame, who encouraged the Arab Spring, was involved in Afghanistan and the invasion of Iraq, wasn’t the U.K. part of all that, you reap what you sow. The only ones who shouldn’t be allowed in the U.K. are the Albanians and are supposedly being sent straight back that’s if they don’t abscond.

as for albania we should take a leaf out of their book by making this country as difficult to enter as they once did when they were under a strict communist regime and that was just for a holiday.

It's difficult to understand why when these boats are tracked all the way from French beaches why we can't just immediately send them straight back. These are all economic migrants looking to get to the land of milk and honey, not refugees from war torn France are they?

The primary factor behind the current problem was the Tory governments post-Brexit deal, and specifically its failure to reach a “returns agreement with the EU”, whereby unauthorised migrants to the UK could be returned to the first safe EU country they had entered.

Before Brexit, there was an arrangement, it expired once Britain left – and the government put nothing in its place. People traffickers spotted the opportunity almost immediately, offering to take people to a country, Britain, from where they could no longer be sent back. Staggeringly no records of any individuals travelling by small boat to claim asylum in 2017 or before – not one case. But as “the UK prepared to leave its returns agreement, small boat journeys started”. And the people making those journeys grew in number, from the low hundreds in 2018 to tens of thousands in 2023.

was there any entry into europe anyway in 2017. back in those days they were still entering this country by other means like getting in or under lorries to do it. these were small in number to the present influx but got more publicity from our current msm as they do now.

Read my post, Been going on for years.
Nigel won,t stop it either

but what is it going to achieve in the end. cannot see any positives at all unless you want racial unrest across the country.

Just about everthing in Gov is there to produce splits.

The post is about illegal immigrants arriving by boat from France which was more or less zero pre Brexit not legal ones as the article is about.

Maybe one of the pro-illegal invader supporters would like to answer the solution to all this.??..Who do we start with? :)

It will affect them one day one way or another.Hopefully it will be a HMO right next door to them..Just watch their halo slip then.

I think you need to look into what we the U.K. has achieved since leaving the EU, the economic damage by leaving the EU single market and customs union already exceeds the total cost of EU membership of the EU between 1973 and 2020.
I have asked this question many times what benefits has the U.K. had since leaving the EU, no one has ever answered it. The Tories used leave as a vote winner in their election campaign with Johnson telling one lie after another.

And no-one will answer you Jamie because there isn't one single benefit of leaving the EU.

how many who voted to leave would either abstain or vote the opposite way if given the chance now. it was never going to work or be given the best chance it could have as those in parliament from all party,s were totally against leaving.

Cameron put the referendum in the Tory manifesto and it won him the election not even considering the electorate would vote leave and it backfired. Cameron did not even have the decency to see it though and resigned.

And stop freedom of movement which has ended up a shortage of people to work in the hospitality industry, care sector etc we are now relying on labour coming from outside the EU. via the visa system. The public through Farage who stood wearing his toy binoculars on the cliffs at Dover proclaiming we have our country back fooled the majority but you very rarely hear him comment about it and what his solution is.
