Where the owners are accountable to shareholders who are looking for profit and dividends returns the costs will never reduce. Year on year shareholders will be looking for increased returns meaning increase in prices.

They've increased like crazy the last two years.

Anymore, it simply won't get used - maybe that's what the new owners want.

The Royal Scam. (little pun for 70s rock fans)

Is this a disguise to stop paying the Postmasters in the Horizon scandal?

Do shareholders actually realise they are getting their own money back.

No, because the Czech is buying Royal Mail not the Post Office. They are separate companies.

Is it too late to change the title of this thread?

I've got a few shares in Royal Mail. If I'd any in the Post Office I'd have sold them off years ago. Hopefully some of their senior staff will find themselves looking at jail time by the end of next year.

concentrate on the growing parcels market probebly. the postal service is dying out fast to the point of posting a letter to yourself to see if it still exists. even a begging letter would be an excitement now.
