Latest poll says he is the least popular prime minister in modern history. With almost two thirds of voters dissatisfied & 65% of brits think the economy will only get worse.

He’s a self made man, the living proof of the horrors of unskilled Labour.

Been out the country 19 times in less than 6 months in office. 17 of those to different countries. Surely that's an own goal as regards his plans to save the planet. Also being a new prime minister and not being here enough doesn't look like a strong leader to me.

Whilst I am no fan of Starmer people have short memories, Truss 49 days of financial chaos, whilst Starmer is popular he hasn’t collapsed the markets. At every opportunity the right wing MSM have gone out to discredit the Labour Party 5 months in power opposed to 14 years of the Tories people forget that.

This happened during the Truss tenure, The Bank of England sought to quell the fire-storm in Britain's bond markets, saying it would buy as much government debt as needed to restore order after new Prime Minister Liz Truss's tax cutting plans triggered financial chaos.

The BoE will now buy up to 5 billion pounds ($5.31 billion) a day of British government bonds of at least 20 years' maturity starting on Wednesday and running until Oct. 14

Kwarteng outlined a plan for tax cuts on top of an energy bill bailout, all funded by a huge increase in government borrowing, UK mortgage markets have frozen, pension funds have dumped gilts and corporate borrowing costs have leapt, Interest rates shot up for mortgages.

Here we go again, Starmer is unpopular because of the previous government!
No he's unpopular because of his actions which in the main are the direct opposite of what they were offering when they were trying to woo the electorate.
The UK was the best performing economy in Europe before the election, now we've just had 2 consecutive months of decline and most analysts are forecasting recession. That is entirely down to Labour and their budget which is stifling business and investment.
Truss and Qwarteng soon paid the price and are history, Starmer and Reeves are the present and the future and they're looking to be as inept as any government in my lifetime.
I suspect the majority of the electorate didn't rate Starmer anyway bearing in mind the 14 years of the Tories and you'd expect an absolute rush to depose them, the low turnout to vote surely indicates the expectation that neither party were going to make our lives better?
I'm still of the opinion Starmer will be replaced fairly soon as will Rachel.

Farage's biggest priority is growing Reform, there's massive financial support coming his way from the USA in the very near future. His trips are a benefit to his goals.
Anyone who believes that their MP has representing their constituents as their highest priority must be incredibly naive.
The question is what benefits are the UK gaining from all these overseas trips by our PM? The only net results seen so far are more of our money given to other nations in Aid or to save the environment, and a pretty large personal carbon deficit for him and his entourage while telling us to curb our carbon usage. It's as close to Animal Farm government as any since the book was published.

That Farage wants to grow Reform is understandable. Why is he not just tapping into the huge support he has here? Using foreign money is massively dubious. We’re a sovereign nation but he’s selling us out to overseas influence. Should we be happy allowing foreign interference in our democracy, a democracy that millions died for?

Farage has no great influence, yet, on our nations future.
Starmer has just allowed a foreigner to buy Royal Msil and is obviously quite happy costing up to the Chinese and the EU, what will that do for democracy? Democracy dictated we leave the EU so why the desire to get back into bed with a failing club?

Well, I suppose one major difference is that Starmer is the Prime Minister of this country whereas Farage is not. One might expect the Prime Minister to be in the country occasionally dealing with the problems that beset our society.

starmers problem is that he was not popular before he became PM. must be the only person ever elected to power due to the dislike of the opposition rather than the love of him and his party. thing is with all the MP they have who is the alternative. mr. ed or legs raynor.

Fake news..........a deal is not done until both parties sign to it.
I thought Starmer promised us change from the Tories not an out and out programme to copy them.

Quite right Mr Ozzie but the accusation only comes from the Starmer puppets, so no importance can be attached to it.

Starmer and the Labour Party were fully supportive of the Waspi women when in opposition and called for compensation in line with the Ombudsmans ruling.
Today they've said f*ck the Waspi women and f*ck the Ombudsman

Just like they were supportive of maintaining the WFA, going as far as producing their own impact study.

We’ve been allowing interference in our politics for decades, wake up.Labour and Tory’s more than happy to join the various wars with the Yanks over the past 30 years…have been asleep.
It’s called Real Politik, did you miss that out of your course work.
