Well the discussion about football on this football forum was interesting while it lasted.

We have mainline train syndrome here…people whose allegiance to a party is absolute, no matter what the party does is right even when it’s wrong and will always stick to the party line…like facist and communists their politics is absolute.
The whole idea of voting is to vote for the candidate who offers the best options for you, not absorb everything the Party says regardless.
I always find it a bit Orwellian.
Always treat all politicians like snake oil salesmen and enjoy slagging them off, voted for all of them and they all act like bulls on Viagra when they get a sniff of power….they’ll shaft anybody.
I hold my nose and mark the ballot paper.

Agreed not impressed at all with that left back, lua lua was very good though

Our best formation for players we have is one similar to Barnets not that Lawrence will do anything that changes the hat we have now

Starmer for Country and Brash for Hartlepool offered the best options for me after 14 years of shithousery. Is that good enough for you?? Mind you I think I'm getting more Liberal as I get older...unlike a lot who turn to the right as they get older.
But good news on the horizon....a very high % of the young'uns are on the left.
Couple of years ago 4 of us went to a sell-out Jamie Webster gig in Newcastle...after every song the chant of 'Fuck the Tories' was bellowed out by everyone there....music to my ears (pardon the pun). :-D
BTW...I'd say 90% of the audience was at least 25 years younger than me. LOVE IT!!

Read something on the tinternet thingy the other day and it makes perfect sense in the World we ALL live in now...went something like this...

The right wing(Farage, Trump, Musk, Bezos, etc) are making sure the working classes are getting angry about culture wars, to stop them focusing on the class war they should be having)

In other words the poor are attacking each other, leaving the rich to sit and laugh and make even more money.

Instead of going blah blah lefty blah blah blah fucking blah...just sit and think about it.

I could have sworn you said this on the thread on the subject of Food Banks which you started:

"I actually thought that a Thread about Food Banks would have been untouchable even to you lot...how wrong I was.
Bring Back The Bunker of Yesteryear"

Sounds a bit upset. But maybe it was someone pretending to be you. After all, it is quite easy to behave like a twat as you amply demonstrate ever day on here.

Ah the Bunker of Yesteryear.
Had some rally funny moments, sadly outweighed by a pecking order and a dreaded paranoia of certain topics that could not be discussed and some ‘facts’ that had to be adhered to and believed.
But there’s always ways round things

it does not matter anymore who you vote for as they all have to follow the party line due to the whip system. even as a good local mp there is a limit what they can do especially if the council is another colour.

Only 260 nowadays.
But at least I had it to lose.

What's everybodys else had n lost. Skill wise sctatchinghead
