When I was about 19 I stayed for a week in a hotel in central Johannesburg. It was proper hot outside but for breakfast everyday there was a hot plate buffet type thing and an option you could have (and people did) was a full Sunday lunch. I’m on about roast beef or lamb, Yorkshire puddings, roast veg, the works!
