Here we go again the same old shite recycled. They want to limit adverts times for shit foods because our kids are obese. What a laugh  Do you remember pre covid the very same thing was talked about banning or limiting adverts because it was having a huge effect on the NHS. And what did the government actually do? well they allowed " just shit " and " deliveroo poo " to hammer home the food adverts and to sponsor popular well watched programs & gameshows etc. It's all a big pantomime aimed at money money money and foook all to do with our kids wellbeing. Remember dosey Donald Rumsfeld telling the American people that trillions of tax payers money had vanished in the black budget the very night before 9/11 and he was personally going to get to the bottom of this and people will be brought to justice. sctatchinghead Never got another mention after that what a coincidence. rakxe Life is just a game the World is just a stage full of actors and the vast percentage of people are fast asleep. banghead

They won’t have to ban anything…the things you buy are being made a lot smaller in size and bigger in price. :angry-tappingfoot:

It does make you wonder how people are keeping their weight up when the portion size of every bit of chocolate is being reduced by shrinkflation

Only ‘take aways’ were chippy’s….although as kids we suffered when the old man was home with his curry’s, me nan was convinced he was trying to poison us….his ship had Yemeni’s basically clearing up in the engine room and got his exotic spices off them…..one spoonful and you’d end up with arse like a blood orange.
But all food was decent in my eyes and home baked…I hate it when people nowadays say the food then was boring…it wasn’t.

possibly these people never ate home cooked food and can only eat things with foreign sounding names thats full of imported ingrediants. as for the title of the thread we used to call the same people just fat but obese sounds more exciting when talking about them. would the same people actually be happier to see kids undernourished as both are not right. as a kid i always remember the stigma of the kid who lived at the chippy and due to the costs then tended to be the poorer ones.
