This vlog popped up on YouTube last night, not sure where they got all the facts but some of the filming is not even in Hartlepool.

ok everyone thinks the town could be improved but i,m totally sick of outsiders doing a hatchet job on the town especially if the total footage is not all of it. only the other week we had moans about the position of the christmas tree. at least there was one and not like where i live with one that looks to have been purchased in last years poundland january sale. far far worse places than hartlepool and i have lived in a few and still do.

I can name a few places whilst not vile but not the sort of places I would ever want to visit again, I was only there for work, Scunthorpe , Bangor in North Wales, Whitehaven, Workington, Corby where even the Staffolders advised us not to get digs there.

All this guy cares about is views - the reason for the clickbait title. Best ignored.

A load of shite.
A bloke in the comments section says he lives in a Village near Hartlepool and is saying Hartlepool is vile etc etc.
The Village near Hartlepool where Graeme Nicol lives is....

Seen it a few months back, bag of shite is being generous to it…especially some of the comments from some on there..
There’s a few of these doing the rounds with the likes of the top 10 most dangerous towns, worst towns etc, etc, and us and the Boro always get a shout….one had the Boro down as the most dangerous town in the UK …Ffs what about London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow etc….et fucking cetera…..lazy, lazy sensationalism from people who base their results on things like unemployment, sickness figures etc and cobble together shite. :angry-tappingfoot:

I pulled Graeme Nicol in the comments section on calling Hartlepool vile while he lives in Blackhall.
He replied....'I don't live in Blackhall now....I moved to Consett in October'!!!

The people who call the town are the absolute toss pot idiots that have never left the boundaries of Teesside - There is parts in Boro and Gateshead that make the town look like Harrogate. Its a joke - just wait till the New Power Station is getting built, the old one coming down plus all the stuff getting sorted over on Teesport - this town will be a thriving business mecca. There is money getting poured into the town in certain areas but like anything - go looking for it hard enough and you will find it.

and there are parts of harrogate away from the tourist areas and there rip off shops no better than the old industrial towns of the NE. however its more fashionable to do a hatchet hob on the NE and some of the lancashire coastal resorts to the point of people refusing to visit all these places and making cracks about towns they have never actually visited.
