When I look at the table it says Sussex 175 points, Durham 158.5, and three teams between those two totals.

"Danger of adding the county championship" - with two games left to do in it it would appear. Have I missed something? sctatchinghead

Edit: OK just realised the BBC is days behind with their update. :uhoh: :uhoh:

Importantly, Lancashire beat us in the last match after producing a substandard pitch but the inspectors were unwilling to call it as such.

Was that the game the other week when it was all over inside 2 days.

I just reckon that some of the players fancied a weekend on the lash in Blackpool so got the game over with quicker. :grin:

Why, whats wrong with the weather? It's worse in South Africa!

Just how good is Otis Gibson?!

The next Bunker meet should definitely be at a Durham game early next season

OK, I don't understand. Apparently Durham got 19 points for beating Sussex, not 20 as I thought.

Durham bowled out Sussex for 291 in 67 overs in the first innings and then scored 316 in 104 overs. That should have given them the maximum 3 bowling bonus points, plus 3 more for scoring 300-350 in 130 overs or less. 14 points for the win + 3 + 3 is 20 innit? confised

Deducted a point for slow over rate;

If you look in the fine print you'll see this:

* Durham were deducted 1 point for a slow over rate

Daft buggers :roll:

I hope they weren't including the 45 minutes delay when Rana Naved wrecked his shoulder. That would be a bit harsh :laugh:

So we have to assume Lancs won't win; if they do they will finish above Durham, simple as that. A 2½ point gap to Sussex is a tough one to bridge if both win. Durham really need to get max points (22)

Can't see Sussex not winning, Worcs players will be on the piss all week and won't give two shiny shites about this one.

But weren't Durham batting then? it would be really harsh to deduct a pont from Durham then
