In a great way, Hartlepool is crackers! 700 odd signatures to move it. What about all the people who go out down Church Street - they'll miss out if it moves, have they thought about that, eh?! :)

just having one is the main thing. some villiages near me have stopped having them altogether and many get smaller by the year. keep your powder dry to when the councul decide not to have one or rename the period as well.

When Sharia Law rules this green and pleasant land ALL Christian related festivals will disappear.
I only hope we're still allowed to indulge in a Cadbury's creme egg.
A Doncaster councillor assured me that camel racing will never be allowed to take over the Town Moor. For the uninitiated the Town Moor is where the St leger was first run in 1776.

And the winner of the first running of the race was eventually named after someone who fought against Islam!

  Is it Bunker rules that absolutely every light-hearted thread must now be turned into a discussion* about Islam/immigrants? (Unless I've missed the point and this was satire, in which case I salute you.)

The way some people go on you'd think all Christian Traditions etc had already disappeared or been banned.
