Pools players need a lecture on 'risk v return'. Cards this season have cost us greatly.
IMO any Pools player receiving a soft yellow for mouthing off, delaying play etc should be fined a weeks wages. Admittedly there are times late in a game when a 'professional foul' is of benefit to the team but players are paid a salary to do the best they can for HUFC and that is not having a holiday for collecting cards.

I think we're much better to watch than when Sarll was in charge but what annoys me is interviewers constantly saying we have a good squad for this level when in fact I tend to think we are very average for this level. Why can't we just accept that and just do our best with what we have, our problem is we always because of injuries and suspensions put ourselves at a disadvantage for most of our games.

No manager can readily account for reckless challenges such as that for which Dodds walked. The motto goes ‘if you cannot win the game then ensure that you don’t lose it’ which was the minimum expectancy with 10 men. ‘Bloody Eastleigh’ were above Pools before KO and still are, hardly world beaters but on a par with Pools ie mid table mediocrity - and it will remain that way unless LL can find the means to inject furher quality in midfield and also a half decent striker to complement Mani.
