This lad came across really well in the interview I saw. Has been at some elite clubs, Leipzig, Newcastle and played 30 odd games for Newport in League 2, also played a lot for England youth teams, surely at NL level he will be decent if looked after well. I'm optimistic about this signing.

so did sarll as well. surely out of over 3,000 poolies we cannot all be wrong. mind you he might be a nice lad and first in for training and the last to leave which seems to go a long way with them.

I heard we were in talks with a centre half called Siht To a Blanket but couldnt agree a deal. Not sure what the sticking point was.
