Farmers have it fairly easy nowadays with the modern machinery, the farms I am on about are in Lincolnshire, the vegetable one. Thing is most vegetables can be picked nowadays by machinery but as it’s expensive to buy manual labour is cheaper and you can hire and fire as you like. A modern piece of Machinery costing 1000s might only be used once then it’s stuck in a shed for the rest of the year.

I worked in EU countries as a tradesman no visa required now I would need a visa, some countries like the States will only grant a visa if they don’t have enough skilled labour of their own.
