Just been watching a program about Prussia and found it very interesting. Stopped being in existence in 1945. :roll:

Why not? I did all about Bismark at school, a statesman from Prussia who unified Germany.
1947 was when Prussia was dissolved.

According to the program Prussia was dissolved in 1945 as part of the treaty sctatchinghead

Its an odd place. east prussia became a part of poland to the north and my lads new partner lived about 10 miles to the west of it. the area is full of german surnames living alongside many of russian extraction. funny how this topic came up a couple of days after we were talking about it. seemed happy to talk about it as my lad has zero interest in history or geograhy if it isn,t football related.
