yeh nothing against the people involved--they am sure want the best for the club and are putting the time in--but its all shuffling deckchairs on the Titanic under the current administration---if HUST have refused to get involved because of the limited remit then good on them

I can understand different "fans groups" being invited to send a representative but it surely has to be every fans group and there is no better fans group than HUST, apart from the bunker that is.

The issue for me - that Walter Mitty Shithead chap is not a fans rep, he’s Singh’s man. It all seems very trivial meeting when the club’s a bit of a mess and fans aren’t allowed to ask about issues they’re actually concerned about.

And from what I’ve seen from Walter Mitty Shithead on here, he really doesn’t seem to have the skill set to deal with different groups, especially HUST who he clearly has a massive issue with.

On the Agenda....

Apologies from HUST...(we didn't want them here, too many pertinent and important sounding questions from last time)

• Which brand of Tomato Sauce would the Supporters like in the Kiosks?
• Guano on the seats needs removing. Any volunteers?
• Foot Long Hot Dogs or Frisbee size Burgers?
• Which 80's Pop Hits would you like to hear pre-match, half-time and full-time?
• A toilet is blocked under the Mill House Stand....any volunteers?
• We intend to add a Brass Band in the NWC to accompany the Drum. Does anyone know a cornet and trombone player who'll play for free?
• A light bulb needs changing in the Visitors Dressing Room. The full Board and Raj tried changing it but couldn't manage it. Any volunteers?

Any other business...(but remember boys and girls...no pertinent and important questions)

Next Meeting...TBC after we see how this one went.

All that has reminded me - we were going to trial ‘flag twirling’ at one point. That was actually suggested at one point in the last couple of years!

Raj has always treated HUST with contempt he begged them to find a buyer for the they dis which he at first denied then turned their offer down, The first item nif any of these people have any creditability is to propose a vote of no confidence in Raj's lapdog Walter Mitty Shithead if raj had any thing about himself he would attend himself.

Arse twitching more like....at least come March when we still down among the dead men and Walter Mitty Shithead announces after extensive lobbying he's replaced bourbon biscuits with custard creams in the executive lounge....

You would of thought so.
No need to create divisions we're some think they are more important than the others.

its a bit like some fans will think they are some type of super fan because they never miss a pools game home and away plus spending a fortune in the club shop. thing is they never mention that they have the time and the money to do what others would like to do.

Having a single fans group would be ideal, even brilliant but some groups of fans don't appear to want that.
In fact we used to have a single supporters association back in the day and there was a Hartlepools United Supporters club in the mulgrave road area where fans could congregate for a drink etc, similar to the supporters association based in the Corner Flag we have now. Then there are the various facebook groups like us, which are comparitively new to the scene. And also the Trust.
The big question is how do we convince them that being all together would be better and a bigger collective voice.
Good luck with that task.

where has this come from ? who decided all of this ? whats the point and who are they...

too many cooks - we are not Man Utd... why do we have so many little fan groups all of a sudden.

i get the HUST... i also get HOOC1908... NWC i also get but surprised to see represented.

will any of them sit round the table with Walter Mitty Shithead and get the chance to have their 10p worth ?

you mean if they have any energy to have their say after falling out before hand. thats the problem with fans. they all have their own agenda about the club even if they have the clubs interests at heart. football, politics and religeon are all the same. its a good subject to start up a row if you want.

NWC & HOOC are just Walter Mitty Shithead extensions. The lad representing NWC on the panel plays footy Saturdays so as far as I know doesn’t even go to Pools as much now. So I’m not sure where his value is anyway at meetings to help improve the match day experience.

actually that could be a plus point if he works for the majority of others rather than just himself.

I feel for the supporters association as they’ve been around forever it seems, chipping away, raising money, sorting occasional coaches, well know as a friendly, welcoming place for away supporters etc but aren’t really on social media much so get a little forgotten. Loads of them watch home and away as well. I find the Corner Flag a great place on match days.

HUST I do get now although I only became a member as of this year with the consortium stuff. They’re kind of an umbrella organisation that does allow any fan to put themselves forward to a board, which in theory can be reflective of the fan base but best of all is independent of the club. It’s imperfect as a concept but best way for fans to remind the club that it’s the fanbase that is the lifeblood of Pools. As a legal entity it’s the way for supporters to get some ownership as well.

Between those two I can’t understand why Walter Mitty Shithead felt the need for another group, other than I’m afraid to say ego. He could have joined the board of HUST and helped take it in whatever direction he wanted. Instead, with no consultation, he took over lots of things the supporters association traditional did - he’s certainly more media savvy and made a lot of noise about it. And as I learnt from Mr I recently, he threatened members of HUST - nuts that he’s now got a prominent position on the ‘board.’

HOOC is a bit weird though. I’m not aware there’s a way to become a member, atleast I wouldn’t know how to go about it? They undoubtedly raise money for Raj through the bar but don’t get anything for it. They might justifiably argue that they’re doing it for the club and don’t want anything in return but you’ve got to strongly think the money ultimately only lines Raj’s pocket.

Don’t get me wrong, having been in there a few times, they’ve got kids engaged in the club, the player of the match presentation is good and other stuff. Did it need another group? Not really.

Thanks for that :)

we should have one .... probably been around longer than half them groups anyways ha ha

but i presume most on here dont frequent the games as often as say the NWC bunch do.

be ideal to have an event setup where all the fan groups - forum fans etc where able to have a get together and raise some money for the club or charity.

It’s like an FA Cup match where the underdog is kicking the Premiership club all over the place.

Thanks for that excellent post Mikey76, I agree with every thing you wrote. The Supporters Association have been very active for 40 years and have helped the football club in numerous ways ,too many to list. We have done this for the love of the club, no fanfares , no fuss, no ego trips. It would be encouraging if the football club recognised our efforts but in common with many football clubs they don’t like independent minded supporters groups which they can’t control.

its funny that but totally true. supporters clubs put more in than they,d ever take out and should be encouraged and be allowed a voice in the club even if some topics like finance cannot be discussed for obvious reasons. remember going to donny rovers at the old belle vue ground where there supporters ran the food huts. the limited food on offer was cheap and very edible unlike the crap served up by an outside caterer at the new place.

Thanks for that excellent post Mikey76, I agree with every thing you wrote. The Supporters Association have been very active for 40 years and have helped the football club in numerous ways ,too many to list. Another cracking post.

Because those 2 weren't his idea.
