I believe so but whilst we're discussing him there is a pre match interview with him on the official site which you may like to watch.

he seems a nice bloke and there are a lot worse players, but club legend?--with the exception of 1 maybe 2 seasons at most he's been around through a sustained period of abject failure

His interview on Tees is cringe worthy.
Takeing positives from the Alty game.
The squads very good blah blah blah.

Usual bullshit from within the club.

New manager needs to get them to look at the league table n tell these overated underachievers to start earning there wages.

Discipline needed to end this holiday camp malarkey.

Er….what did you expect him to say,
If you were interviewed at work would you slag off the firm and its owners and managers.
Get real girls, you’d bite your tongue and sing a happy song…..

Feaths always comes over as a no bullshit type - a bluff Yorkshireman to his bootlaces. It's like listening to a young Mick Wadsworth!

Thought he was bang on about the Alty game. Pools were all over them in the second half, as Phil Parkinson admitted in his interview on the Alty website.

He also makes no bones about Pools needing a new manager - not a whiff of any 'carry on with Len' nonsense.

That's how it came across to me.

People see it how it lines up with their view no matter what Featherstone says.

Exactly doesn't matter what anyone says within or around the club, we listen, read, or watch then formulate our own opinions. That's what sparks debate and it'd be a sad world if we all thought the same based on messaging.

There's never any drama from Nicky. He is softly spoken and matter of fact. Sometimes he appears so laid back you expect him to nod off.

Featherstone is a far better player in this more advanced role rather than as holding midfielder. I think that's down to Sherron being so good at the defensive and closing down stuff and being capable and mobile enough to do it for 90 minutes.
What a difference having the ball on the floor with technically gifted players like Fev, Campbell, Aswiime, in the middle of the pitch.

thats why i hope he will not get the managers or an assistants job until we sign an obvious replacement who is as good. the reason i,d stick with len leaving him in his present role for a few months or this season to take over the reigns or assistant next season.

probably only the 2nd time this season but i seen the real Feaths at the weekend - the one we had absolutely running the show when we got promoted - his ability in the middle of the park really shone today and would of gone a miss if he didnt play. He can do that and we know what hes capable of being in the right side. Let the players do his work and let him and the ball do the real work.
